IWA Mid-South King of the Death Match 2001 Pt. 2

Suicide Kid v. Mark Wolf

This was a good match. And loved the dive Suicide Kid did off the rafters through the barbed wire table

Suicide Kid advances via pinfall
2.25/5

Trent Baker v. Rollin Hard

This match wasn't very good but at least it was short.

Rollin Hard advances via pinfall
0.75/5

Mitch Page v. Axl Rotten

This was short but brutal and bloody. A barbed wire-wrapped shovel came into play.

Mitch Page advances via pinfall
2/5

Necro Butcher v. 2 Tuff Tony

This was a great fucking fight. These two beat the shit out of each other and Necro got slammed on tubes multiple times. Tony took a staple gun to the nuts. Plus I enjoyed the pacing of this match. They kept moving to the point it felt like a real fight. The only complaint I have is the door, tube, and barbed wire contraption they had on the outside of the ring moved during the finish.

Necro Butcher advances via pinfall
3.5/5

Ian Rotten v. Sick Nick Mondo

This was a good match. These two beat each other with anything that was not nailed down and both men were bloody messes after. And the bump Mondo took off the crow's nest through the tables and tubes was legendary.

Ian Rotten wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Suicide Kid v. Rollin Hard

I wish this match could have gone longer. Suicide Kid was very athletic and while Rollin Hards matches don't impress me. His character was over.

Rollin Hard advances via pinfall
1.75/5

Mitch Page v. Corporal Robinson

This match was OK. The object of this match was to throw your opponent off of the balcony and pin them so you knew what was being set up. Mitch Page power-bombed Corporal Robinson off the balcony through a lot of tables.

Mitch Page advances via pinfall
2/5

Necro Butcher v. Ian Rotten

This match was short but stiff and violent. Necro took some CTE shots with the jug on a stick then went through a flaming table.

Ian Rotten advances via Table
2/5

Mitch Page v. Rollin Hard v. Ian Rotten

This was a good match with a lot of glass.

Ian Rotten wins King of the Death Match via pinfall

3/5

GCW v. ROW Night 2 2023

Jarvis v. Murdoch v. Levi Nixon v. Anth Cava v. Fun Time Phil v. Hector Jones

This was an Australian scramble

Fun Time Phil wins via pinfall
2/5

Steph DeLander v. Charli Evans v. Allie Katch

This was a great wrestling match by 3 great wrestlers.

Charli Evans wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Lochy Hendricks v. Effy

This was a really good match. These two are mirror images of each other in terms of both ring and character. Very fun, the crowd was into it and you couldn't ask for much more.
Effy wins via pinfall
3/5

Aysha defends the Renegades Womend Championship against Maki Itoh

While this match was good. I kinda of wanted more out of it. Aysha and Maki had the babyface heel dynamic down but I don't know it just felt like it was missing something.

Aysha retains via pinfall
1.75/5

Emman Azzman v. El Hijo De Vikingo

This was a great match. I've never seen Azzman before this and what a competitor. He kept up with Vikingo well and it would be nice to see Azzman stateside sometime.

El Hijo De Vikingo wins via pinfall
3/5

JXT and Joey Janela v. The Bastard Brothers

This was a great match. I finally got my death match fix on this tour. We had chairs, doors, trash cans. The finish was sick with Cracker Jack having a cinder block smashed over him while laying on a bed of nails.

JXT and Joey Janela win via pinfall
4.75/5

GCW v. ROW:Night One 2023

Everett Connors v. Lucky Hendricks v. Robbie Eagles

This was a great cruiserweight-style match. All 3 men worked at a fast pace and it reminded me a lot of the Super Crazy, Tajiri Little Guido series in ECW.

Robbie Eagles wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Bastard Brothers v. Back Pain

This was a decent match. A cool thing in this match was Cracker Jack ripping open the head of one of Back Pain with his fingernail. It might be one of the most unsanitary things I've seen in a match.

The Bastard Brothers win via pinfall
2/5

PPK v. Bussy

This was a fun match but I wouldn't say a good match. These two teams were mirror images of each other and it set up some fun spots I can't say on this blog though, but the match-wise wasn't my jam.

Bussy wins via pinfall
1.25/5

Joey Janela v. Caveman Ugg

This was a good match. It got some momentum taken away from it early when they had a door that wouldn't break. But after that, they had a good hard-hitting match.

Caveman Ugg wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Steph DeLander v. Lena Hross v. Aysha
I liked this match because I'm a Steph DeLander fan. The other two women were good but come on, Steph has it.

Aysha wins via pinfall
2/5

Charli Evans v. Maki Itoh

This was a really good match. We finally got blood with Maki using the pizza cutter and it was nice to see Charli Evans back in a new ring.

Maki Itoh wins via submission
3/5

El Hijo De Vikingo v. Gringo Loco

This was a great lucha match. Gringo appeared to be knocked out from an outside dive but finished the match like a badass. This was like a video game in the best possible way.

El Hijo De Vikingo wins via pinfall
3.25/5

IWA Mid-South:King of the Death Matches 2001 Night One

Richard X v. Suicide Kid in a barbed wire baseball bat match

The match was ok. They did use barbed wire bats. And they did try to do athletic stuff with ladders but to me, this just flowed weird.

Suicide Kid advances via pinfall
1.5/5

Uncle Honkey v. Mark Wolf

This match was not good. It was very slow, yeah I know Uncle Honkey is a very large man. Also, it was funny you can see Uncle Honkey blading.

Mark Wolf advances via pinfall
0.75/5

Deranged v. Rollin Hard

Well, this was an interesting match. We had both men getting thrown into barbed wire and Deranged vomited.

Rollin Hard advances via pinfall
2/5

Trent Baker v. Tower of Doom

This was an ok match.  A lot of thumbtacks and I liked Trent Baker's heel work.

Trent Baker advances via pinfall
1.5/5

Chris Hero v. Corporal Robinson

This was a good match. Chris Hero was a great heel and any time he went into the tacks he sold it super well. Corporal Robinson was over as well and I'm liking the IWA stuff I've seen of him so far.
Corporal Robinson advances via pinfall
2.5/5

Bull Pain v. Hido

This was a very violent and goof match that was overshadowed by the end. Hido went for a splash off of the top rope onto a barbed wire bat draped Bull Pain. And When Hido landed he dislocated his elbow.

Hido advances via pinfall

Shane Dorsey v. Axl Rotten

The match itself wasn't great but I did get to see people get cut across the head with scissors.

Axl Rotten advances via pinfall
1.5/5
Mitch Page v. Paul E. Smooth

. I wasn't into this match. Paul E. Smooth looks like a dollar-store Trent Acid.

Mitch Page advances via pinfall
0.75/5

Mr. Insanity v. 2 Tuff Tony

This was a great match. 2 Tuff Tony is a name im surprised i havnt heard more of because his matches were ahead of their time. And Mr. Insanity is a guy i would put in the Mike Awesome category of moves like a cruiserweight and looks like a heavyweight. A lot of tubes, blood and barbed wire here. Now i see why i gotta watch this promotion.

2 Tuff Tony advances via pinfall
3.25/5

Necro Butcher v. American Kickboxer

This match was good. American Kickboxer had a good MMA style,i guess hence the name. And im pretty sure Necro got a tack lodged into his hand and finished the match.

Necro Butcher advances via pinfall
2/5

Peter B. Beautiful v. Ian Rotten

This was uncomfortable and does not age well.

N/A

Ian Rotten advances via KO

Cash Flo v. Sick Nick Mondo

I likes this match because i like Sick Nick Mondo. Dude was way ahead of his time in not just death match, but pro wrestling. Also im glad his ear is still attached after that match.

Sick Nick Mondo advances via pinfall

2/5

GCW:Lucha De Explosivos 2023

Jimmy Lloyd v. Bobby Flacco v. Brayden Toon v. Rob Shit v. Maldito

Yet another scramble

Jimmy Lloyd wins via pinfall
2/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Calibus

There wasn't much to this match.  Blake Christian looked great as usual but Calibus didn't click for me.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
2.25/5

Leon Slater v. Xtreme Tiger

This was a decent match. Xtreme Tiger looked good. Leon Slater was impressive again. Yeah.

Xtreme Tiger wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Baby Xtreme v. Arez

Finally a lucha match and this was great. Baby Xtreme was very impressive and i hope to see more of him and Arez has really been impressing me lately.

Arez wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Joey Janela v. Devito?

I have no idea who the hell Joey Janela wrestled but he had a great match. Yeah Joey can wrestle a great match with a broomstick but this guy was fantastic and i cant wait to look up who the fuck he is.

Mystery Man wins via pinfall
3/5

The Rejects and Joe Lider v. Los Macizos and Damian 666 in an Exploding Death Match

What an amazing contest.  We had barbed wire and,as promised explosions. Not just explosions on the barbed wire ropes either. Chairs and kendo sticks were rigged to detonate as well. Scary spot where Joe Lider through Ciclope off of a balcony through barbed wire platforms that didnt give. Miedo Giving JWM the exploding knee for the finish was insane.

Los Macizos and Damian 666 win via pinfall
4.25/5

GCW:Homecoming 2023 Pt. 2

Brayden Toon v. Tony Deppen

This was a short but sweet match. Both men got their shit in and BraydenToon got his please come back chant.

Tony Deppen wins via pinfall
2/5

Brat Pack v. Thrunt

I like the people in this match but it was an 8 person so there was too much going on.

Thrunt wins via pinfall
1.5/5

B3CCA v. Maki Itoh

This was a good showing by both ladies. Maki is great in the ring and has it.

Maki Itoh wins via submission
2/5

Komander v. Dragon Kid

This was a great Lucha match between a legend in Dragon Kid and a legend in the Making in Komander.

Komander wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Masha Slamovich

Well, the match was good and had a lot of hope spots like Akira showing up and stopping Blake's bullshit but Steph DeLander showed up and ruined that. I Like the setup for a new feud.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
3/5

Jimmy Lloyd and Los Macizos v. Cole Radrick, Alec Price and Shane Mercer v. Joey Janela Ninja Mack and Dante Leon v. Gringo Loco, Arez, and Jack Cartwheel

While this was a complete and utter clusterfuck this was still fun to watch. And a nice change of pace from a scramble.

Gringo Loco, Arez, and Jack Cartwheel win via pinfall
2.75/5

Hayley Dylan v. Santana Jackson

This match served its purpose of showcasing Santana Jackson
0.75/5

East West Express defends the GCW Tag Team Championship against Toru Suiguira and Takashi Sasaki

Well since they lost the titles if this is probably Nick Waynes last night in gcw. Can't wait to see you take over AEW. The match itself wasn't great but the story with Freedoms v. GCW is.

Toru Suiguira and Takashi Sasaki win the GCW Tag Team Championship via pinfall
2/5

Rina Yamashita defends the GCW Ultraviolent Championship against Violento Jack

This was a very good match. Many tubes and glass panes were broken. A few crazy spots too. Rina got suplex to the floor by a door and a pane of glass stacked up. And Jack got suplexed onto a tube red carpet and pane of glass. Then we continued the Freedoms v. Gcw and set up a sick-looking war games match in October.

Rina Yamashita retains via pinfall
4/5

GCW:Homecoming Pt. 1 2023

Maki Death Kill v. Matt Cardona and Steph DeLander

This was a fun match. Its always good to see the heels get what's coming to them. Maki and Gage carved up Steph and Cardona like Thanksgiving Turkeys. Great performance by all involved and it felt good to watch this.

Maki Death Kill wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Leon Slater v. Alec Price

This was a good match by two good wrestlers. That stunner Alec Price hit on the ropes was great but in the end Leon Slater got the better of him.

Leon Slater wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Los Macizos v. Thrussy

I wouldn't necessarily say this was a good match but this was entertaining. Just watch this because last time i posted stuff like this the lovely people at Blogspot flagged me.

Thrussy wins via pinfall
1.75/5

Alex Zayne v. Tony Deppen

This was a good match. Glad Tony Deppen is healed up from injury. And Alex Zayne was a good person to knock the ring rust off of Deppen.

Tony Deppen wins via pinfall
2/5

Joey Janela and Sawyer Wreck v. Charles Mason and Parrow in a Double Dog Collar Match

This was really good for a dog collar match. Joey Janela bled a shit ton and it was a good visual with his blood on the wall. The end was crazy with Parrow and Mason being hung from a forklift.

Sawyer Wreck and Joey Janela win via submission
3/5

Jimmy Lloyd v. Shane Mercer v. Ninja Mack. Cole Radrick v. Arez v. Dante Leon v. Komander v. Gringo Loco

Another scramble but this time more people.

Jimmy Lloyd wins via pinfall
2.5/5

Rina Yamashita defends the Ultraviolent Championship against Takashi Sasaki

This was a great match. I didnt remember much from Sasaki from the Japan tour but this guy can kick a light tube into someone hard as fuck. These two warriors through each other through doors and destroyed each other with tubes and thats what life is about.

Rina Yamashita retains via pinfall
3.25/5

Toru Suiguira v. John Wayne Murdoch

This was a really good match. Two world class death match wrestlers and many panes of glass, what else do you want in life?

Toru Suiguira wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Spyder Nate Webb v. Masha Slamovich

This was a squash. Masha won so it served its purpose.

Masha Slamovich wins via pinfall
1/5

Violento Jack v. Matt Tremont

What a great match. Some of the punishment Tremont can take amazes me. Theres a reason he has that hole in his forehead. The finish was insane where Sasaki had Tremont in that submission and was jamming glass into Tremonts Arm. He had no choice but to submit.

Violento Jack wins via submission
4/5

GCW:No Signal in the Hills 3

Unguided 2.0 v. Los Macizos and Lil Cholo

I liked this match. Seeing the Unguided crew in a non scramble showed me what these guys are about and I dug Lil Cholo in this. Macizos showed there are not just death match wrestlers and can go as well.

Los Macizos and Lil Cholo win via pinfall
3/5

Steph DeLander v. Masha Slamovich v. Allie Katch v. Maki Itoh

This match was just okay. The in-ring was eh but the story between Steph and Maki was the highlight for me.

Steph DeLander wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Chris Bey

This was a great match. Two great athletes doing what they do. Christian did his usual heel tactics and it was a great time.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
3.75/5

The Rejects v. Sawyer Wreck and Joey Janela

This was a pretty good match.  We had doors and blood and Sawyer getting dropped on her head. She looks okay though.

The Rejects win via pinfall
2.75/5

Leon Slater v. Jack Cartwheel

This was a good match with two good up-and-comers. And by god does Leon Slater have a crazy moonsault or what?

Leon Slater wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Gringo Loco v. Mance Warner

This was a good clash of styles. Gringo got in his lucha stuff, Mancer got in his blood and guts spots and both men were able to do each other's styles in a match which I feel is rare in wrestling.

Gringo Loco wins via pinfall

Jimmy Lloyd. Jordan Cruz v. Brayden Toon v. Calibus v. Alec Price v. Jordan Oliver

Another Scramble. Brayden Toon and Jordan Cruz were impressive though.

Jordan Oliver wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Jacob Fatu v. Effy

I liked this match. Jacob Fatu still impresses me every time. How is someone built like him able to do the athletic stuff he can do? Plus Fatu looks legit. Like he would bite your face off in an alley.

Jacob Fatu wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Johnny Gamechanger v. Nick Gage

This was a good and interesting match. Johnny Game Changer bled a lot from Nick Gage cutting him with a pizza cutter. Jonny's performance here was great too. He took tacks and door spots from the King like a champ and to my surprise pulled out the win.

Johnny Game Changer wins via pinfall
2.5/5

H2O: So Much To Say 2023

President Hawkins v. Leroy Robinson

This was a Hard-hitting opener.

President Hawkins wins via pinfall
2.25

J.B. Anderson and Frank Bonetti v. Duncan Aleem and Brian Neel

While I wasnt too into this match Duncan Aleem was impressive.

J.B. Anderson and Frank Bonetti win via pinfall
1.75/5

Cecilio Vega v. MM3

This was a great match by two great up-and-coming wrestlers.

MM3 wins via pinfall
3/5

Mouse v. Anthraxx v. GG Everson

This was a good match. I enjoy the Mouse character and the use of a barbed wire chair and GG Everson is a beast who suplexed everything in his path.

Mouse wins via pinfall
2.5/5

Matt Tremont defends the IWTV Championship against B3cca

I enjoyed this match. Matt Tremont can go in a non-Death Match capacity. I now have seen B3cca and I believe the hype now. She was really good in the ring and had a lot of charisma.

Matt Tremont retains via pinfall
2.75/5

Jimmy Lloyd v. Deklan Grant v. Rocket

This match didn't stand out to me. Rocket's high-flying was cool but this was too short for my liking.

Jimmy Lloyd wins via pinfall
1.75/5

Tommy Vendetta v. Austin Luke

There wasn't much to this match. Austin Luke showed good fire but that's all that stood out to me.

Austin Luke wins via pinfall
2/5

Los Macizos v. Alex Stretch and Matt Tremont

This was a good match. We had a lot of fuckery and Cicplope doing the splash to Alex Stretch and missing into the tacks looked painful.

Alex Stretch and Matt Tremont win via pinfall
2.5/5

CZW:Deja Vu Ii

Z-Barr and Scott Chong v. Rockin Rebel and Greg Matthews

This was just ok. It was your run-of-the-mill tag match.

Rockin Rebel and Greg Matthews win via pinfall

2/5

John Dahmer and Cory Castle v. Adam Flash and Ian Knoxx

This was another so-so tag match.

Adam Flash and Ian Knoxx win via pinfall

2/5

Gauntlet Match

This was a fun way to see the juniors of this era. Chris Ca$h was great and for a guy that tall, he can do some shit. Sonjay was a standout as well and his athleticism was ahead of its time.

Sonjay Dutt wins via pinfall

2.25/5

Cody O'Neil v. Arik Cannon

Well the match itself didn't stand out but Arik Cannon looked great.

Arik Cannon wins via pinfall

2/5

Jimmy Rave v. AJ Styles

This was a very good match. You can see flashes of what these two would become and these early years matches live up to the hype.

AJ Styles wins via pinfall

2.75/5

Johnny Kashmere and Rain v. Sick Nick Mondo and Simply Lucious

I enjoyed this match. This proved to me that Sick Nick Mondo was not just one of the best deathmatch wrestlers of that era but, one of the best wrestlers period and I will put him up against any ROH or TNA legend of that era. Kashmere held his own and both female wrestlers were way ahead of their time as far as in-ring goes.

Sick Nick Mondo and Simply Lucious win via pinfall

3/5

JC Bailey defends the IWA Mid-South Junior Heavyweight Championship against Sanjay Dutt

This was a great fast-paced match.

JC Bailey retains via pinfall

3/5

Nate Hatred v. Nick Gage

This was a great match. Nate Hatred is a beast and his suplexing Nick Gage through the stack of chairs was insane. I look forward to seeing more of Nate Hatred on this nostalgia journey.

Nick Gage wins via pinfall

2.75/5

Tony Mamaluke v. Jimmy Rave

This was a good match as well. It was a good cruiserweight-style match and I saw how underrated Tony Mamaluke was and Jimmy Rave as well.

Tony Mamaluke wins via submission

2.75/5

B-Boy and Trent Acid v. Homicide and Mafia

This was a great hard-hitting match that was reminiscent of a 90's All-Japan match. Great athleticism is shown here which Mafia doing a tope was insanity. And lord what could have been with Trent Acid?

B-Boy and Trent Acid win via pinfall

3.5/5

Zandig v. Ian Rotten in a Taipei Death Match

Im not really a fan of Taipei Death Matches but this was good. For me it wasnt about the match so much as it was about the IWA v. CZW feud which is something i want to explore more of. Both sides are stacked with legends so it should be great.

Ian Rotten wins via pinfall

2.75/5

Bryant v. Tommy Fusion

Even though i wasnt into this match too much Tommy Fusion was impressive.

Nothing really stood out to me here. Been awhile since i've seen Everett Connors though.

Everett Connors wins via pinfall

Misspent Youth v. Phoenix Tallion and Kid Nova

I dont remember much about this match.

Misspent Youth win via pinfall

1.75/5

JT Hollow, Zack Hayles and Ryan Zero v. Blood Fighter

This was a great match. It had a crazy brawl around the arena. Jordan Samson got smashed by a cinderblock. Blood Fighter put Skewers in the mouth of their opposotion and we got a gusset cross spot.

Bloodfighter win via pinfall

3.25/5

Will Walker v. Horus

This was a good match with some crazy spots.Walker atomic got dropped onto a chair with soda cans. Chili powder was rubbed into a cut by Walker. Walker was driven through board with candles.

I enjoyed this match. It was a straight up wrestling match with Tyson Baxter looking very impressive.

Edward Dusk wins via pinfall

2.75/5

Vixsin defends the DMDU Championship against Vic Craig

This was a great match. Craig ate a pie with thumbtacks. There was Lots of tubes and lots of blood with Vic Craig gushing buckets of blood.Craig got putthrough barbed wire web and fell onto a door with cactus on it. The only issue with this match was the finish because the Glass wouldnt break with Vixsin tried to put Craig through it.

Vixsin retains via pinfall

3.75/5

RPW:King of the Kill 2023

Randi Rest defends the RPW Rust Belt Championship against Mongo and Chuck Stein

I liked this match. We had gusset plates and tubes Mongo took a gnarly-looking suplex on his head and glad he is seemingly ok. This was a nice way to kick off the evening.

Randi West retains via pinfall

2.75/5

Crazy King v. Dr. Redacted

This was a great match. We had a nice fuckey exchange at the beginning of the match. Dr. Redected was bleeding like a motherfucker and still has to wrestle later! And yes we did get the trash can spot.

Dr. Redacted advances via pinfall

3.25/5

Judge Joe Dred v. Hoodfoot

This was an okay match. We had a hoss fight. Judge Joe Dred looked good in this match. Dred is good at getting heat and for a guy his size he can do some athletic stuff. My only gripe from this match is I was left wanting more but it could make sense to me later.

Hoodfoot advances via pinfall

2.75/5

Tommy Vendetta v. Remington Rhor

I liked this match. Remington Rhor just keeps upping his game and if you don't know you're about to find out about Remington Rhor real soon. The spot of the match was Remington laying a cinder block on Tommy Vendetta's nuts and coming off the top rope with another cinder block, scrambled eggs indeed.

Tommy Vendetta advances via pinfall

2.75/5

Shlak v. Joel Bateman

The match itself was good. It was a treat to see both men in action because for various reasons we don't get to see both men in action that much. Both men bled a lot and we got the Jun Kasai razor board. I did not like the nonfinish but due to politics, I see why it had to happen that way.

Joel Bateman advances via Referee Decision

3/5

Midwest Scum defends the RPW Tag Team Championship against Hardcore 69

This match wasn't that great. It was a bit on the slower side but I did get to see Shadows WX use a fireball. The ending was confusing as fuck.

Midwest Scum retained somehow

1.75/5

Hoodfoot v. Dr. Redacted

This was an okay match. A lot of suplexes through things and I like Dr. Redacted won with a Misawa-style elbow.

Dr. Redacted advances via pinfall

2/5

Tommy Vendetta v. Joel Bateman

This was a fun match. We had a tv used as a weapon and the finish with Tommy Vendetta piledriving Joel Bateman onto a tv with Tubes of glass dry ice, yes dry ice. And the TV was so insane.

Tommy Vendetta advances via pinfall

2.75/5

Schwartzy defends the RPW Kamakazie Championship against Herzog

This was a very good and very brutal match. I look at Herzog and think this. How much does it suck to take the light tube glass out of his chest hair? Scwartzy is always entertaining.

Schwartzy retains via referee stoppage

3/5

Dr. Redacted v. Tommy Vendetta to determine the King of the Kill

What a great match. This was a crazy grand finale to legitimize this tournament. The spot where Dr. Redacted jumped off the U-Haul onto the barbed wire trampoline was RPW's Sick Nick Mondo moment. The winner made sense and I'm looking forward to next year hell I may take the bus to Maybee next year.

Tommy Vendetta is the king of the Kill

3.5/5

Circle 6:Love Don't Live Here 2023

Now this isn't the full show.  This is just 4 matches that Circle 6 put on YouTube but, C6 has some cool stuff going on so any chance to watch there product I will take them up on it.

Jacob Fatu v. Matthew Justice

This was a great match. Some stiff ass CTE causing chair shots were exchanged and Jacob Fatu's in ring ability impresses me every time.

Matthew Justice wins via pinfall
3/5

South Pacific Savages v. Eric Ryan and Atticus Cogar in Tribal Warfare

I loved this extremely violent match. There was a lot kf glass used and the highlight of this match was Journey Fatu getting the Death Valley Driver into a pile of barbed wire, tubes and terakata.

Atticus Cogar and Eric Ryan win vis pinfall
3.5/5

AJ Gray v. Mao

This was a really good, straught uo,hard hitting wrestling match and Yoshihiko even made an appereance.

AJ Gray wins vis pinfall
3.5/5

Akira v. Bobby Beverly in Ultraviolent Kumite

I loved this match. So to paint a picture of what this was like the ring had the canvas stripped to the boards and the ropes were taken off. This one had a lot of tubes and a lot of blood. The crazy spot in this match was a section of boards were moved out,a barbed wire board was put in that spot and Akira and Bobby Beverly both went through it.

Bobby Beverly wins via pinfall
3.5/5

GCW: Nick Gage Invitational 2

Matt Tremont defends the GCW Championship against Shlak in a No-Rope Barbed Wire Match

What an amazing match! So the story of this tournament is every match Tremont is in he will defend the GCW Championship. Shalk got thrown into Barbed Wire in this and looks to have punctured an artery but still finished the match. Both men were bleeding excessively and that's what I love to see.

Matt Tremont retains and advances via pinfall
3.5/5

Miedo Extremo v. G-Raver

I hate to review like this but I don't care. I Love Miedo but as for the other guy. I don't put over people like him here. Not sorry.

Miedo Extremo advances via pinfall
2.25/5

Daisuke Masaoka v. Marcus Crane

I loved this match. Never got to see Marcus Crane do his thing and this man was a genius. The only weapons used here were tubes but yet so many different variations of fuckery. The cyclone through a sphere of tubes was nuts and Marcus getting pushed off of the ring through a door of tubes was great. And to see both men's backs after was disgusting.

Daisuke Masaoka advance via pinfall
3.5/5

Ciclope v. Nick Gage

This was a good match. I got to see Gage take the infamous Kasai Razor Board. And it was pretty gross seeing Ciclope getting reeled in by a fishing rod.

Nick Gage advances via pinfall
2.75/5

Teddy Hart v. Joey Janela

This was an okay match. Teddy Hart is another one don't want to touch on so this is hard for me too.

Joey Janela wins via pinfall

Matt Tremont defends the GCW Championship against Miedo Extremo

Great match that had a lot of crazy shit. We had Tremont go through the Kasai Razor Board and get a board with skewers hammered into him courtesy of Miedo. Tremont got his Tricep cut very badly in this match. And the DVD finish on the gussets was sick.

Matt Tremont retains and advances via pinfall
3.25/5

Daisuke Masaoka v. Nick Gage

This was another amazing match. Loved seeing Gage doing strong style with Masaoka by neck-chopping him. We had Masaoka taking an assault driver onto a wood pallet with tubes. And Gage was squirting blood from his hand and refused a towel to stop the bleeding!

Nick Gage advances via pinfall
3.5/5

Brandon Kirk v. Jimmy Lloyd

This was a violent match.  Lloyd getting power bombed through tubes that were on top of a rail was pretty cool. But the Rejects came and interrupted the match by attacking Jimmy Lloyd with a saw.

No Contest
1.75/5

Matt Tremont defends the GCW Championship against Nick Gage in a Cinderblock Ring Match.

This was pure insanity. The fact that the canvas was taken out and replaced by cinder blocks was brutal enough. But these guys went hard and beat the fuck out of each other. The finish where Nick Gage got suplexed through a wine case full of light tubes was the perfect ending to one of the best deathmatch tournaments I've watched to this point.
Matt Tremont retains via pinfall to win the NGI

ICW NHB 50

Eric Ryan v. Jayden Newman

This was a good match with good wrestling. We still had a lot of light tubes in this. I would have liked more than a roll up finish but thats life i guess.

Eric Ryan wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Tommy Vendetta v. Jimmy Lloyd

This one was fun. Shout out to Darren amc Carty for taking the light tubes like a champ. The finish was insane with Jimmy Lloyd being driven onto a pile of chairs and Legos

Tommy Vedetta wins via pinfall
2/5

Casanova Valentine v. Matt Tremont

This match was great. It was an absolute blood bath. We had both men going through a barbed wire net, which Tremont dove onto Cass with a chair onto said net Mick Foley style.

Matt Tremont wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Bobby Beverly v. Danny Demanto

This match was good as well. We had the use of light tubes and popper bats. Danny Demanto did the Demanto driver to Bobby Beverly onto a tube cabin but it that still wasnt enough to put the Bev down.

Bobby Beverly wins via pinfall
2.75/5

John Wayne Murdoch v. Dr. Redacted

This match was great. John Wayne Murdoch took a lot of punishment. He got darts thrown at him courtesy of Dr. Redacted. And JWM took a back drop onto a board of forks. John Wayne Murdoch got his revenge though by using razor wire on Dr. Redacted. And Redacted brought back the trash can spot. The finish was JWM doing a death valley driver onto a chair that had flaming light tubes draped over it.

John Wayne Murdoch wins via pinfall
4.25/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match Championship against Low Life Louie
This was a gooe match. Low Life Louie jammed a fork into Hoodfoot's head and Louie getting suplexed through a light tube bridge were the highlights in this one.

Hoodfoot retains via pinfall
2.75/5

Brandon Kirk v. Krule in a Krule's World Match

This was a cool match but it was missing something. The highlights were Krule stabbing Brandon with antlers, which katee on the Kirks stuck an antler into Krule's chest. The finish was Brandon getting choked out after Krule but,  Kasey was not touched so im guessing the feud isn't over.

Krule wins via submission

Rekka v. Kikutaro v. Tatsuhito Takiauwa

This was a fun comedy match.

Tatsuya Takaiwa wins via pinfall
1/5

ERE v. Dragon Libre and Gentaro

This match didn't stand out for me. Dragon Libre was impressive though.

Dragon Libre and Gentaro win via pinfall
1.75/5

Kengo and Minoru Fujita v. F-Swag
This was just your run-of-the-mill Tag Match

1.5/5

CUNTSensual v. ERE

This was a fun match. Ladders galore here and Charli Evans looked like a beast throwing everyone around the ring.

ERE wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Gringo Loco, Blake Christian and John Wayne Murdoch v. Mammoth Sasaki, Takashi Sasaki and Takahiro Katori

Whoever said death match wrestlers can't work a real match watch this one.

Mammoth Sasaki, Takashi Sasaki, and Takahiro Katori win via pinfall
2/5

Joey Janela, Jimmy Lloyd, and Shane Mercer v. Jun Kasai, Yasaku Ito, and Masashi Takeda

This was a very crazy match. We had barbed wire boards being used as well as a Barbed Wire board and Skewers. The crazy spot in this match was Takeda placing a barbed wire board on top of Shane Mercer and hammering it like a railroad spike with a chair.

Team GCW won via pinfall
3/5

And before the main event I want to shout out the Freedoms Ring crew for being so fast. They were very efficient and America can learn a lot from them.

Rina and Macizos v. Hirota, Masaoka, and Suiguira

This was a great way to end the Japan Tour. Rina Yamashita and Toru Suiguira hit each other with tubes so hard. The suplex that Miedo Extremo gave Masaoka was very reminiscent of Scott Steiner in the 90's.

Team Freedoms wins via pinfall
3.25/5

ICW NHB:51

Scwartzy v. Satu Jinn v. Mongo v. TJ Meyer v. Remington Rhor

This was a good match. This was way more chaotic than the average scramble. And Satu giving TJ Meyer the urinage through the tv as the finish was great.

Satu Jinn wins via pinfall

2.25/5

Isaiah Broner v. Justin Kyle

This was a beef fest. This was a pretty good match as well. Just two behemoths beating the shit out of each other and destroying everything in their path.

Justin Kyle wins via pinfall

2/5

Chuck Stein v. John Wayne Murdoch

This was a crazy match. This Chuck Stein is a madman. He took a weedwacker to the stomach and used a Syringe on John Wayne Murdoch. The match itself was very violent, had a lot of tubes and it was good.

John Wayne Murdoch wins via pinfall

3/5

Crazy King v. Tommy Vendetta

This was a decent match. The coolest part of the match was the 3 piledrivers Tommy Vendetta gave crazy king onto the legos for the finish.

Tommy Vendetta wins via pinfall

2/5

Danny Demanto v. DBA

This was a really fun match. Danny got the Monroe family so mad that i thought someone was gonna pull out a shank. DBA is a badass and he has the best flaming elbow ive ever seen.

DBA wins via pinfall

3/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match Championship against Randi West

This match was beautiful. Hoodfoot had to fight his mama in this one. A lot of glass in this one. And if that wasn't bad enough Hoodfoot took a suplex through a pane of glass covered in barbed wire.

Hoodfoot retains via pinfall

3/5

MM3 v. Matt Tremont

This was an amazing match. MM3 can hang with anyone in any type of match. That balcony dive he did onto the door was insane. Glad to see Tremont still killing it after getting injured in that MOTY candidate 700 light thbw match. He really is a bulldozer.

Matt Tremont wins via pinfall

GCW:My Name Is GCW 2023

Jimmy Lloyd v. Rico Gonzalez v. Kaled Konley v. Shane Mercer v. Adrian Alanis v. Jordan Oliver

This was a pretty good scramble. I enjoyed Shane Mercer throwing people around the ring. Kaleb Konley continues to get better in the ring, I hope he continues this path. And I know I have seen Rico Gonzalez in other scrambles but he did some cool high-flying stuff here.

Jordan Oliver wins via pinfall

3.25/5

Alec Price v. Masha Slamovich

This was a good match. Both these people beat the fuck out of each other. And when Alec Price went for his C4 kick I loved how Masha countered it into a powerbomb.

Masha Slamovich wins via pinfall

3/5

Los Macizos v. Violence Is Forever

This match was OK. Violence is Forever really doesn't do anything for me. We had some doors and tables but yeah, nothing special.

Violence is Forever won via pinfall

2/5

Komander v. Joey Janela

This was a really good match between two great wrestlers. Komander still never ceases to amaze me in the ring.

Komander wins via pinfall

3/5

Parrow v. Sawyer Wreck

This was a decent match. I liked Sawyer Wreck laying in those CTE chair shots on Parrow. Parrow hanging Sawyer with a chain was cool too and I like where the story with Parrow and Joey Janela is going too.

Sawyer Wreck wins via pinfall

2.25/5

The Rejects v. Second Gear Crew

This match was amazing and we had a lot of craziness. We had Mancer taking a skewer through the hand, getting suplexed through a barbed wire door, going through glass panes and being tombstoned onto a chair so Mancer deserves a purple heart. And JWM doing the destroyer through the door for the finish was spectacular.

The Rejects win via pinfall

4/5

Cole Radrick v. Crazy King

This was a pretty crazy and good match. Its good to see Cole Radrick but into death matches. We had a lot of tubes and Crazy King's back was cut really nice.

Cole Radrick wins via pinfall

2.75/5

Bussy v. Bang & Matthews

This was a filler match that served its purpose. It sucks because Bang & Matthews deserve more

Bussy wins via pinfall

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Speedball Mike Bailey.

This waa a great match. All i can say is two of the best on the indies right now doing what they do.

This was a really good match and a straight-up hoss fight.

2.75/5

Team Freedoms v. Team GCW.

Whoever said death match wrestlers Suiguira, Hirota, and Sasaki proved you wrong here. Great shit.

Team GCW won via pinfall
2.75/5

Masoaka, Kodaka, and Miyamoto v. CUNTSentual

This was another banger of a match.  The highlight of the match for me was the Japanese contingent putting Sawyer Wreck under a barbed wire door and then hammering the door with chairs.

CUNTSensual wins via pinfall
3/5

Masashi Takeda v. Masha Slamovich

This match was unbelievable.  Takeda dis his scissor spot to Masha. There were plenty of tubes. And speaking of scissors Masha got cut on her wrists with the courtesy of Takeda.

Masashi Takeda wins via pinfall
4/5

ERE v. Los Macizos and Jimmy Lloyd

This was another crazy match. We had the use of totes, which hurt more than barbed wire if you ask me. Sasaki and Jimmy Lloyd went headfirst through a door. Ciclope took a syringe to the eye. And Violento Jack broke a bottle of Ciclope's head.

Los Macizos and Jimmy Lloyd wim via pinfall
3/5

John Wayne Murdoch v. Jun Kasai

I haven't got to see much of Jun Kasai but I liked what I saw here. This was a good match. I got to see the infamous knife board. John Wayne Murdoch got skewered in the mouth. And that Crazy Monkey Jun Kasai dived forks.

Jun Kasai wins via pinfall

We do this same review every GCW show

Gringo Loco wins via pinfall

Daisuke Masaoka wins via pinfall
3/5

Mammoth Sasaki, Toru Suiguira and Tomoya Hirota v. John Wayne Murdoch and Los Macizos

This was a really good match with a lot of fun brawling and a lot of blood. The high point of this match was Hirota getting stabbed in the stomach with a handsaw.

John Wayne Murdoch won via pinfall
3.25/5

Sawyer Wreck and Charli Evans v. Rina Yamashita and Masha Slamovich

This was a good hitting match. I loved the finish where Rina did the splash mountain to Charli Evans onto a pile of chairs.

2.75/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Shinghiro Irie

Pretty good, straightforward hitting match.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
2.75/5

Masashi Takeda v. Joey Janela

This fucking match was great. Just straight insanity the way I like it. We had Takeda raking Joey Janela across the head with scissors. Janela did a suplex off of a ladder onto Takeda onto a pile of tubes. Both men got stabbed with scissors.  And if that wasn't crazy enough Takeda dove off of a ladder onto Janela who was holding tubes.

Takeda wins via pinfall
4.75/5

IWA Mid-South:King of the Death Match 2000

First off i understand this is a legendary company that was run by a very sketchy man but, said sketchy man is bogus as hell for making me sit through a 5 hour show.

2 Tuff Tony v. Suicide Kid in a Thumbtack Bat Match

This was a pretty good and pretty intense match. Thumbtacks were used as promised. We had a nice gusset board spot and 2Tuff Tony bled a lot.

2 Tuff Tony advances via pinfall
2.75/5

Allister Fear v. Todd Morton

This match wasn't great. It did have a nasty headshot in it and we got Allister Fear giving Todd Morton a piledriver onto thumbtacks but nothing really to write home about here.

Brain Damage wins via pinfall
2/5

Mark Wolf v. Rollin Hard

Not a very good match but a cactus was used.

Rollin Hard advances via pinfall

Allister Fear wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Corporal Robinson advances

Rollin Hard v. Corporal Robinson in a Flaming Casket Match

This was the match i reviewed the show based on and it really underdelivered. I just wanted the show to be over at this point. The ending was really bad. So you are supposed to win the match by shoving your opponent into a casket and lighting it on fire to win. I have no idea what you're putting into a box thats that fucking big and the fire barely lit.

Rollin Hard is the King of the Death Match

Benjamin Tull defends the IWS Championship against Green Phantom

This was an ok match. I see the potential with Benjamin Tull and I saw how over Green Phantom is in his home town which was very over. I still have to get used to the IWS Product so bear with my lack of knowledge of the product.

Benjamin Tull retains via pinfall

This was a fun match. It was a spot fest with a lot of ladder ignorance and some table ignorance
