Wrestlemania Weekend Day 3

So I started off this day going to the Reading Terminal Market, great cheesesteak but a complete shit show to navigate.

We then went to the Indie Hall of Fame and we got there late but got to see the Mercedes Martinez and Briscoes inductions.

After this we hit the liquor store and headed to RPW Miasma

Christian Napier and Vincent Nothing v. Midwest Scum

This was a good wrestling match. Ricky Shane Page announced he would not be competing and instead Alice Crowley took his place. I was impressed by 44OH Blue particularly Vincent Nothing.  He's a big Dude that can go. The match was stopped due to interference from RSP and Christian Napier, after that Atticus, Otis and Gregory Iron came out for the save and offered Zach Thomas a spot in 44OH Yellow.

No contest
2.5/5

Dr. Redacted and Low Life Louie v. Randi West and Scwartzy in a Red Light District Death Match

Randi West and Schwatzy win via pinfall
2.75/5

Remington Rhor defends the Kamakaze Championship against Vic Craig

This was a really good match. Both men are criminally underrated and showed us what they can do.  To add some context, everyone there had been running around, going to multiple shows and there were a few who were feeling the effects from extra caricular  activities all weekend but this was the match that woke everyone up.

Remington Rhor retains via pinfall
2.75/5

Joel Bateman v. Danny Darko in a Razor Boards and Glass Panes Match

This has to be in the conversation for Match of the weekend.  Both these guys went all out and the way these two took bumps onto the razor boards was incredible, afterwards Joel Bateman gave a speech touching on his depression and if Joel Is reading this I hope you're feeling better and hope this weekend is what you needed.

Joel Bateman wins via submission
4.75/5

Judge Joe Dred v. Matt Tremont in a Typhoon of Tubes Match

Even though this had a non finish this was great. Judge Joe Dred and Steven Jury us such a great act. They came out mocking Matt Tremont and afterwards the Bulldozer Matt Tremont came out. No contest
2.75/5

Clint Margera v. Shlak in a Danny Havoc Memorial Match

Atticus Cogar defends the RPW Championship against Christian Napier

Afterwards Zach Thomas came out to help Atticus who was getting beat down by 44OH Blue and Zach Thomas joined The Yellow.

Atticus  Cogar retains via pinfall

MM3 v. Hoodfoot v. Otis Cogar v. Lou Nixon for the RPW Rust Belt Championship

Overall

Show was decent but the bands were not good. Sucks the main got rushed but it was free so I can complain that much

5/10

Afterwards we went to the SVW block party but by the time we got down there the wrestling was over. It was a cool sight to see all these wrestling fans having a block party though.

Then we went to Old City, met up with the Ramos Brothers and got Cheesesteaks and Pizza from Oh Brother and chilled before Evil Ways.

Felix Koz v. Beastman

This was a very fun match. Felix Koz was hallarious and even brought Roman Reigns and The Rock to help him out.

Felix Koz wins via pinfall
3/5

Joel Bateman v. Mickie Knuckles v. Lou Nixon

This was one of the best no ring matches I've seen. Lou Nixon was a surprise addition and these three killed it. So much glass was used and so much blood was spilled. Plus all thr fan involvement for the Human Centipede was great too.

Lou Nixon wins via submission
4.5/5

Dr. Redacted v. JJ Escobar

This match was insane. We had a weedwacker and a crazy ass brawl outside. Dr. Redacted jumped off the balcony with a trash can. And the finish with JJ choking out Redacted with the board was great.

JJ Escobar wins via TKO

4/5

Overall

From the venue to the action this is probably the best No Ring show I've been to or seen. Evil Ways knocked it out of the park with this one and showed people including me what there about.

After this we ubered back and passed out.

I flew into Philly and arrived at 11 a.m. My friend Jake and His friend's flight got delayed so I headed over to the world famous Dellasandros for my first of many cheesesteaks, by the way if you live in Philly and rely on SEPTA I feel sorry for you. That shit sucks.

Then after that I went to meet up with Jake, And a couple of his friends and we went to a Free strip club which was not what i was expecting, went to a few bars and bullshitted around Downtown Philly

Then we got to Eat The Turnbuckle

Ground kicked things off, they were good and reminded me of Infest at times with a more metal twist but I wish there set was shorter.

Fang was not good.

Antiseen was amazing and I'm glad i got to see them. If you're into old school punk check them out.

Ringworm didn't play any of the stuff I wanted to hear till the end Birth of Pain, The Promise and Justice Replaced By Revenge are great records and they should only play stuff off that. I did get to see Dr. Redacted mosh though.

Then Eat The Turnbuckle played and it was a shit show but in a good way. Shlak's band played while top tier Death Match Talent beat the fuck out of eachother

Necro Butcher won
5/5

Mad Man Pondo v. Hardcore Hillbilly was next and I was so burnt out by then I didn't really pay attention to it.

Sorry Pondo, Sorry Hillbilly

Afterwards we went back to the hotel and slept

Friday

We got up and went to the SVW store and if you're any kind of wrestling plan hit this place up it's cool as fuck

Then we went over to Angelo's and got cheesesteaks and Pizza. 2nd best cheesesteak in Philly by the way and my dude Loren from Your Dose of Death podcast fame met up with us and we headed over to Murdermania.

Akira v. Gabriel Skye

This was a technically good match but I was having a hard time seeing it, which that's not on the participants that's on me.

Gabriel Skye wins via pinfall
2/5

Murderbowl

I enjoyed this match. There was a lot of people that I enjoy there work. Clint Margera,Lyndsay Snow etc the only thing that took away from it was the finish. Some girl od'd and fell off the ramp during the match. I hope she's ok and I hope she gets the help that she needs.

Rob Shit wins via pinfall
2.5/5

Santa Chiva v. Sexxy Eddy

This was more or a comedy match but I had a great time watching it. Sexxy Eddy is a legend and Santa Chiva's gimmick is great to where he would have been a top star in Chikara.

Santa Chiva wins via submission
3/5

Lou Nixon defends the Rise Death Match Championship against Cassanova Valentine

This was a fun match and Lou Nixon is legit as fuck also funny thing during this was while the police were there investigating the OD the fans were chanting for the dildo. The look on their face of "what the fuck are these peoples problem" was priceless. I didn't see the finish and I didn't call Cass winning the title.

Cassanova wins the Rise Underground Death Match Championship
3/5

Killian McMurphy v. Gritty

This was a comedy based match buy again really fun and we got a barbed wire hockey stick used.

Gritty wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Dominick Danero v. Kit Osbourne for the New Fear City Championship

This was a really good match. We finally had tubes and Kit bled buckets. I love the Dominick Danero gimmick and I think he will make a great champion

Dominic Danero wins the New Fear City Championship via submission
3.25/5

Overall

For a no ring show this was fun. The skate park was a great venue for this and this had a cool feel to it.

6/10

After this we went with the Ramos Brothers Victor and Hugo and booked it to the H20 Center for ICW NHB. This building is amazing and you guys in New Jersey have something great going with that.

Eric Ryan v. Yasaku Ito

This match was very good. There was a lot of glass and both men were bleeding perfusely. Ito is a fucking artist when it comes to using those tubes. Also it was my first time at the H2O Center and if glass comes flying at you it is very hard to move out of the way. So there was a lot of people getting cut up.

Eric Ryan wins via pinfall
4.25/5

The Cogar Brothers v. The Pillars

This started off very slow due to the Cogars demanding it be a straight tag match but once this got going it was good wrestling with a few tubes and chairs mixed in.

The Cogar Brothers win via pinfall
2.5/5

Tara Zep v. Shazza McKenzie

This was on okay match. The first spot was supposed to be where Tara speared Shazza through a door but the fucking door would not break and that took away from the match. It picked up once the brawling outside got going but they used a door for the finish and still did not get it to break. Fuck that door for real.

Tara Zep wins via pinfall
2/5

Clint Margera v. Hoodfoot

I enjoyed this match. This was my first time seeing Clint live and he has some great working punches that are up there with Austin and that DVD Hoodfoot took through the Light Tube Triangle was tremendous.

Clinr Margera wins via pinfall
3.25/5

Danny Demanto v. Alex Colon

This was a amazing match. Since Mikey Whipwreck dropped off the show it was announced there would be a mystery opponent for Danny and Alex Colon was the man. We got the Fired up and pissed off Alex Colon here and this was by far the best Danny match I've seen. This was a absolute war and after Alex Colon called out Atticus Cogar and said he's been ducking him and Alex is coming for him.

Alex Colon wins via submission
5/5

Krule defends the IWTV Championship against Neil Diamond Cutter, Lou Nixon and Tank

This was a really good and chaotic match. Ita hard to watch multi person matches live but I did enjoy Krule just destroying people.

Krule retains via pinfall
3.5/5

Bobby Beverly v. Joel Bateman

This was an incredible match. The only weapons used here were tubes but these two beat the fuck out of eachother with them.

Bobby Beverly wins via pinfall
4/5

Killdozer defends the American Death Match Championship against Vic Craig, Danny Darko and Green Phantom
This was a crazy and brawl and a shit show in the best possible way. All these men killed it and killed each other.

Killdozer retains via pinfall
4/5

Overall

Great show. This was one of the best ICW NHB shows in history.

8.5/10

After this we took an Uber back to Philly. Jake went to sleep and I stumbled around Philly to get food and had to eat a fuckin 7 Eleven wrap.
