GCW:Take A Picture 2024

Bang and Matthews v. Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed

This was a great tag match with a lot of athleticism. I felt like I was watching a PWG match from 2014.

Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed won via pinfall

4.5/5

Allie Katch v. Megan Bayne

Megan Bayne was impressive here and Allie stepped up her game in this one and was over with the crowd.

Megan Bayne won via pinfall

2.5/5

Matt Cardona and Broski Jimmy came out to a chorus of boos and announced the GCW Championship is vacant due to Blake Christian's commitments in Japan and the title will be decided at Cage of Survival in a gauntlet, if Joey Janela won his next match he would enter the gauntlet last.

Joey Janela v. Parrow

The story was cool with Joey overcoming the odds with Matt Cardona being the GM and being against him, but the match was short.

Joey Janela won via pinfall

1.75/5

After the match, Parrow slammed Joey Janela on a pile of chairs and then Microman came out.

Broski Jimmy v. Microman

This was a fun match and Microman even used a Tube on Broski Jimmy.

Microman won via pinfall

2.75/5

Violence is Forever defended the GCW Tag Team Championship against Los Desperados

We had an interesting contrast of styles here but it worked.

Violence is Forever retained via pinfall

3.25/5

Kylie Rae v. Dark Sheik

Even though it was cool to see Kylie Rae again this match was just so-so.

Kylie Rae won via pinfall

1.75/5

The Rejects v. Nick Gage and Zilla Fatu

This was what it should have been, a crazy brawl around Thalia Hall. Zilla Fatu continues to progress for me.

The Rejects won via pinfall

2.75/5

Speedball Mike Bailey v. Danhausen

This was a lot of fun. Danhausen brought out the gimmicky side of Speedball Mike Bailey and Speedball Mike Bailey showed us that Danhausen can go.

Danhausen won via pinfall

4/5

Mance Warner v. Cole Radrick

I liked this because it felt like a fight, Raddy Is the man, and Mancer is a great heel.

Mance Warner won via pinfall

3/5

Dralistico v. Gringo Loco

This was great lucha action and I want more Dralistico in GCW.

Gringo Loco won via pinfall

4.25/5

This was a cool show live. Not much Death Match but that's Thalia Hall. We still got craziness along with good wrestling.

GCW:Tournament of Survival 666

Effy v. G-Raver

Even though I have a hard time putting over G-Raver this was a good match. That Salt and Vinegar Chip spot was barbaric.

G-Raver advanced via pinfall
3/5

Manders v. Atticus Cogar

These two are great so this match was great. The finish was insane with Atticus skewering Manders and doing his finish off the Top Rope through a Barbed Wire Board on Hay Stacks.

Atticus Cogar advanced via pinfall
2.75/5

Nolan Edward v. Orin Veidt

Don't know much About Nolan Edward but he is talented and wonder why I don't see him around more. this was a very good match.

Nolan Edward won via pinfall
3/5

(Edit, looked up Nolan Edwards, nevermind)

Bam Sullivan v. Alex Colon

This was a bloodbath. The way it should be. Plus the crowd was going nuts in this for Alex Colon. I knew he was over but this was another level.

Alex Colon advanced via pinfall
3/5

Calvin Tankman v. Starboy Charlie v. Jack Cartwheel v. Dante Leon v. Dylan McKay v. Ninja Mack

Ninja Mack won via pinfall
2.5/5

G-Raver v. Atticus Cogar

Nolan Edward v. Alex Colon

Now I know the hype of Alex Colon. Right after the pandemic, as far as Death Match goes no one was on his level. This match was so good!

Alex Colon advanced via submission
3/5

Kit Osbourne v. AJ Gray

This was a squash. Kit Deserves better.

AJ Gray won via pinfall
1/5

Atticus Cogar v. Alex Colon in the Tournament of Death finals

This was a great fucking match. Marcus Crane at Ringside reacting to stuff and jumping around was phenomenal. The exposed board through the glass spot was amazing. And the crowd made this even better.

Alex Colon won TOS 666
4/5

Overall

Great show. This tournament still stands the test of time and this for sure is an all-timer

Circle 6 x Loko: Til I Die 2024

To start the show Mike from Circle 6 introduced the Ultraviolent Championship and announced it would be decided at the show on July 16th he announced some card changes

Bobby Beverly v. Eric Dillinger in a No Rope Barbed Wire Match

This was amazing. Eric Dillinger took some crazy punishment here like being thrown over the top of the Barbed Wire and landing on his ass through a barbed wire board. And the finish where Eric Dillinger took a Perfect Plex through the Barbed Wire Board/Chair contraption was nuts.

Bobby Beverly won via pinfall

4.25/5

AJ Gray v. Chris Carter

To be fair I don't like dog collar matches In general but this did nothing for me. Love AJ Gray but not really into Chris Carter maybe I need to see his stuff in a non-Dog Collar Match.

AJ Gray won via submission

2/5

Low Rider v. Dimitri Alexandrov v. Akira

All three men in this match are great so this match was great. I need more Dimitri in my Deathmatches, and Low Rider is impressive. Akira shanking people was great too.

Akira won via submission

3/5

Orin Veidt v. Drake Younger in a Pane Killer Death Match

I like that these two took their time in there. This wasn't slow enough to where it was boring and both men's backs were bleeding like crazy.

Orin Veidt won via pinfall

2.75/5

Hoodfoot v. Otis Cogar v. Journey Fatu in a Blunt Force Trauma Match

As promised this had a lot of CTE shots and the spot where Otis got lit on fire with the Flaming Chair was crazy and the fact that he finished the match like nothing happened was crazier.

Journey Fatu won via pinfall

2.75/5

Overall

This was a great show, Loko is a great promotion that I need to quit sleeping on. Circle 6 is on a roll lately too.

Bang and Matthews v. Hunter Drake and Brayden Toon

This was a nice, athletic Tag Match

Bang and Matthews won via pinfall
2/5

Cole Radrick v. The Mecca Brian Johnson

Cole Radrick is great but Mecca did nothing for me.

Cole Radrick won via pinfall
1.5/5

Matt Makowski v. Akira

This is the Matt Makowski I wanna see. This was a great Hard-hitting match.

Matt Makowski won via pinfall
2.5/5

John Wayne Murdoch v. Manders

Finally, we got some violence! As well as this just being a hard-hitting match, we got a deep south destroyer through a door.

John Wayne Murdoch won via pinfall
2.75/5

Rich and Powerful v. The Kirks

This was a simple story and I liked it. The Kirks are the hot baby faces and the Rich and Powerful are the asshole heel faction. Simple.

The Kirks won via pinfall
2.5/5

Broski Jimmy v. Jordan Oliver

I liked this match and the Asai Moonsault Jordan Oliver did was sick.

Jordan Oliver won via pinfall
2.5/5

Griffin McCoy v. Charlie Tiger

I get this is to build the dog collar match at JCW but seen it, next.

Griffin McCoy won via pinfall
1.75/5

Ruckus can still go and I was impressed by Nick Gage for the most part wrestling, he can go.

Ruckus and Nick Gage won via pinfall
2.75/5

Overall

Even though this was a mystery show this wasn't bad and I liked a few of the surprises. Nice wrasslin show.

GCW:Most Notorious 2024

The Mane Event v. Legion of Rot

It was cool to see Hallowicked and Frightmare and they can still go.

Legion of Rot won via pinfall

1.75/5

The Mecca v. Matt Makowski

This felt like a throwaway match. It did get Makowski over so that's cool.

Matt Makowski won via submission

1.75/5

Cole Radrick v. Brandon Kirk

This was a good match with 2 guys who can do any style.

Brandon Kirk won via pinfall

2.5/5

Bang and Matthews v. Grim Reefer and Ruckus

First off fuck you Cardona for making Weed illegal in GCW, second off we had a good athletic match and it was cool to see Bang and Matthews come out on top.

Bang and Matthews won via pinfall

2.25/5

Parrow v. Manders

I liked this because it was believable. Manders lariated the fuck out of Parrow.

Manders won via pinfall

2/5

Mance Warner v. Marcus Mathers

I loved the involvement of the Mathers family. Mance Warner is an amazing heel.

Mance Warner won via pinfall

3/5

Steph DeLander v. Cheeseburger

I was entertained by this match. Bring the Cheeseburger back into GCW.

Steph DeLander won via pinfall

2.25/5

Joey Janela v. Megan Bayne

Even though this match was good it was a non finish. Jimmy Lloyd and Steph DeLander came out and attacked Joey Janela and Megan Bayne.

No Contest

2.25/5

Afterwards, Joey Janela threatened Matt Cardona and was given a GCW Title Match at Cage of Survival

Broski Jimmy v. Zilla Fatu

This showcased Zilla Fatu and this man is a great wrestler.

Zilla Fatu won via pinfall

2.5/5

Nick Gage v. Tony Deppen

This was an interesting match that worked. Nick Gage as a Brawler and Tony Deppen as a straight wrestler worked well with each other.

Nick Gage won via pinfall

3/5

Overall

There was some good wrestling on the show but it was a very throw-away show.

GCW:Tournament of Survival VII

Hoodfoot v. Rina Yamashita

This had a lot of glass and I forgot how good of a bleeder Hoodfoot is.

Rina Yamashita advanced via pinfall
2.5/5

Slade v. Matt Tremont

This was good because these two disregarded each other's well-being and beat the fuck out of each other with weapons ie, gusset bats, tack bats and a light tube fan. God, I miss Slade.

Matt Tremont advanced via pinfall
3/5

Toru Suiguira v. Shane Mercer

This was slow for my liking but the finish where Toru Suiguira hit Shane Mercer with a Mace while Shane Mercer was in the Tube Hoop was cool

Toru Suiguira advanced via pinfall
2.25/5

Cole Radrick v. Drew Parker

This is what I like in a match. Both men showed wrestling ability as well as tried to kill each other. It reminded me of a Sick Nick Mondo/Messiah match that meets an OG TLC match.

Drew Parker advanced via pinfall
4.5/5

Nick Wayne v. Yoya v. Jordan Oliver v. Lindsay Snow v. Sawyer Wreck v. AJ Gray

Even though there were a lot of studs in this I'm still tired of watching scrambles.

AJ Gray won via pinfall
2/5

Matt Tremont v. Toru Suiguira

I'm still mesmerized by how much Tremont can bleed, he didn't clean off the Blood from the previous round and he bled more here.

Matt Tremont advanced via pinfall
2.75/5

Rina Yamashita v. Drew Parker

Both of these participants took an insane amount of punishment, especially Drew. This man got Superplexed through a glass pane for God's sake.

Drew Parker advanced
4/5

Matt Tremont v. Drew Parker

This was an amazing way to end the tournament. They kept it short, sweet and violent. And the scaffold spots were ridiculous.

Drew Parker won the Tournament of Survival
3.75/5

Overall

Great show and this is how a Tournament should be.

H20:Panic Switch 2024

JB Anderson v. Braxx v. Deklan Grant v. Anthraxx

This was a good brawl to start the show. The use of the BBQ Fork on Braxx's forehead was brutal.

Anthraxx won via pinfall
2.75/5

The 2's v. G.G. Everson and Leroy Robinson

This was a pretty average tag match. Nothing stood out to me.

The 2's won via pinfall
2/5

President Hawkins defended the Hybrid Championship against Erron Wade Cecilio Vega and Kody Manhorn
This was a decent match and I'm glad Cecilio Vega got the win

Cecilio Vega won the Hybrid Championship via pinfall
2.25/5

Brian Neil v. Low Life Louie in an Anything Goes Match.

Brian Neil better leave Party Marty alone or Marty will fuck him up. Low-Life Louie was entertaining as usual. Those screams get me every time. But that cheap bastard President Hawkins had to interfere.

Brian Neil won via pinfall
2.5/5

The Pillars defended the H2O Tag Team Championship against Bam Sullivan and Mouse

This was just a goof straight-up tag match.

The Pillars retained via pinfall
2.75/5

Austin Luke defended the H2O Championship against Jimmy Chondo Lyon

This was a good match. Austin Luke is a very underrated wrestler and after the match, Deklan Grant challenged Austin Luke to a Chain Match.

Austin Luke retained via pinfall
2.75/5

Neil Diamond Cutter defended the Danny Havoc Hardcore Championship against Brandon Kirk

These two took some real punishment here. Brandon Kirk took a Cinderblock to the nuts. Neil Diamond Cutter got stabbed with a piece of wood. And the spot where NDC did the DVD to Brandon Kirk off of a door in the corner onto the pile of chairs made my heart pump faster.

Neil Diamond Cutter retained via pinfall
3/5

After the match, Kasey Kirk called out Neil Diamond Cutter for the Anniversary show.

Lady Blakely, Jess Moss and Kennedi Hardcastle v. Killdozer in a 3 1 House of Horrors Match

Killdozer is one of the best bleeders in the Game, you mix that with 3 of the best up-and-coming females in the game and that's a recipe for a good match. I didn't see Jess Moss turning on The Angels though.

Killdozer won via pinfall
3.25/5

After the match Brandon Kirk challenged Killdozer to a match next month, if Killdozer wins Brandon Kirk is gone from H2O but if Brandon Kirk wins he is gonna set the Killdozer mask on fire.

Overall

Typical H2O show. Soft undercard but a Solid second half.

DMDU x AOW x DWMW:Re-Arranged 2024

Xavier Black v. Axxton v. Jason Crusher Cole

This was okay. Other than the door spot nothing stood out to me about it.

Jason Crusher Cole won via pinfall

2/5

Jordan Samson v. Gore

This wasn't a bad match but not what I wanted out of a Jordan Samson/Gore match.

Gore won via pinfall

2/5

Joel Bateman v. Clint Margera

This was a war. These two destroyed each other and made each other bleed with Doors, Gussets, Knives and Skewers. Plus the DVD through the barbed wire door was sick.

Clint Margera won via pinfall

3.25/5

Hex and Mad Dog v. The Pulse

This was a crazy brawl and many tables were destroyed.

The Pulse won via pinfall

2.5/5

Neil Diamond Cutter v. Vic Craig

This was an awesome match even with the weird finish. These two went all out and had an intense match. Both men took a staple gun to the tongue and NDC took a spear through tubes taped to a door. The finish saw both men go off the stage through a chair/tube structure and NDC won because he was on top of Vic Craig.

Neil Diamond Cutter won via pinfall

3.75/5

Vixsin defends the DMDU World Australian Death Match Championship against James Hartness

Vixsin is a monster and I liked the finish with the Chain choking out James Hartness

Vixsin retained via submission

2.75/5

Overall

No rings are still a bit weird for me but as the show progressed so did the match quality. Australia has slept on the wrestling scene.

Bleeding Gums:Lust For Death 2024

Alton Thorne v. Franco Fate in an If You Build It They Will Bleed Death Match

This was a decent match. The Thumbtack Bat spot was cool.

Alton Thorne advanced via pinfall

Jack Harrop v. Tim Strange v. Tommbie in an Attack The Block Death Match

This match was good. I saw a fucking Tatoo given in a match.

Tommie advanced via pinfall

2.5/5

Danny Darko v. Neil Diamond Cutter in a Cabin in the Tubes Death Match

This was a good match with a lot of glass, as promised.

Neil Diamond Cutter advanced via pinfall

2.75/5

Lou King Sharp v. Big Fn' Joe in an Up In Smoke Death Match

This was a fun match. We had a cool outside brawl and these two beat each other with boards that had bongs and one-hitter on them. Plus I like the surprise finish.

Lou King Sharp advances via pinfall

Clint Margera v. Jack Bennett v. Micheal Caden in a Saw Death Match

This was a short but brutal match. A lot of tubes and some boards with saws in them.

Micheal Caden advanced via pinfall

2.75/5

Johnny Storm, Euan G, Mackie and Tyler Bryden v. British Top Team

This match wasn't for me as it was an 8 mam tag but they need stuff in between tournament matches I get it.

British Top Team wins via pinfall

2/5

Micheal Caden v. Lou King Sharp

This was cool and the spot with Micheal Caden doing the Falcon Arrow through the Chair with grinders on it was cool but this was way too short.

Micheal Caden advanced via pinfall

2.25/5

Alton Thorne v. Neil Diamond Cutter v. Jack Harrop

Jack Harrop was supposed to be in this but Alton Thorne attacking him earlier took Harrop out of the match or so it seemed but Jack Harrop ended up coming out. This was a cool thread to this match plus Neil is great.

Neil Diamond Cutter advanced via pinfall

2.75/5

Micheal Caden v. Neil Diamond Cutter in a Lust For Lightubes Death Match

This was a great match and a great way to end the show. The right person won.

Micheal Caden wins Lust For Death and the BGW Death Match Championship

3.25/5

Overall

Good show.  I wish some matches were given more time but the trade-off was the creativity of the weapons.

This was a good match and Masha is a great wrestler.

Masha Slamovich retains via pinfall

This was a great match. Mascarita Dorada is very athletic and can do some amazing things.
Joey Janela won via pinfall
3.25/5

After the match Demus came out and attacked Mascarita Dorada and Cole Radrick came out for the save.

Demus v. Cole Radrick

This was a nice and crazy brawl. During the match, Mascarita Dorada came out and caused Demus the match.

Cole Radrick won via pinfall
2.75/5

Effy v. Pimpinela Escarlata

While this wasn't bad their previous encounter was better. Although both played into their gimmick well, Nothing stood out wrestling-wise to me.
Effy won via pinfall

These two had a great wrestling match and I hope to see more of Galeno in a GCW ring.

ICW NHB 63

MM3 v. Jake Crist

This match was decent. It's always interesting to see a straight wrestling match inside the chains

MM3 won via pinfall

2.5/5

The Goons v. Mickie Knuckles and Randi West

This was a good and hard-hitting match. The Blair Sisters took a beating in this match and Randi/Mickie made these ladies. Very proud of the Goons and excited to see where they go next.

Mickie Knuckles and Randi West won via pinfall

2.75/5

Otis Cogar v. Tommy Vendetta

I enjoyed this match. There were a lot of CTE shots traded and of course Otis's Straight Razor was used

Otis Cogar won via pinfall

3.25/5

Eric Dillinger v. Dr. Redacted

I loved this match. It felt like I was watching an ECW main event from 1998. That forkboard spot where Dr. Redacted Dove and Dillinger turned the board at the last minute was great. Plus the finish where Redacted did the Curb Stomp Ala Super Dragon was a perfect ending.

Dr. Redacted won via pinfall

4/5

Bobby Beverly v. Danny Demanto

This was another great match. These two made each other bleed like crazy. Danny doing dives through tables as well are you kidding me?

Bobby Beverly won via pinfall

3.25/5

Matthew Justice v. Hoodfoot

This was another match that was great because it felt like an ECW match from 1998. A lot of jumping off of things from Matthew Justice and these two bludgeoned each other with anything that was not nailed down.

Matthew Justice won via pinfall

3.5/5

Killdozer defended the American Death Match Championship against Atticus Cogar

This was amazing. They had a good story going into this that it was the last commitment for Atticus. Both men bled buckets. Atticus using the skewers here was the best I have ever seen this spot done because it looked like he was trying to stab KillDozer to death. During the match, 44OH came out and attacked KillDozer so badly that it looked like he wouldn't be able to continue but then Separate Ways came on and we were back on. 44OH tore up the ring and we got some spots on the bare ring and that was it.

Atticus Cogar won the American Death Match Championship via pinfall

4/5

Overall

Whether or not this is the last ICW show remains to be seen. They didn't send us off disappointed though. This one had banger after banger. Danny, if you read this Thank you and Rest Up.

GCW:Rather You Than Me 2024

At the beginning of the show, it was announced Matt Cardona was the GM of GCW

Jimmy Lloyd v. Megan Bayne

Megan Bayne was great and I look forward to seeing more of her.

Megan Bayne wins via pinfall
3/5

Eli Knight v. Mr. Danger

This was a good flying match and I would like to see more Eli Knight.

Mr. Danger wins via pinfall
2.25/5

Los Desperados v. Jack Cartwheel and Gahbage Daddies

Another great GCW Lucha Trio.

Jack Cartwheel and Gahbage Daddies win via pinfall
3/5

Jordan Oliver v. Timothy Thatcher

When I saw this on paper I thought it was gonna be a match along the lines of that pure wrestling crap ROH does, however, this was a good hard-hitting match and Timothy Thatcher brought it here.

Jordan Oliver won via pinfall
2.75/5

Zilla Fatu v. John Wayne Murdoch

This match was good. It was as ignorant as you can get without it being a Death Match. Also, Zilla Fatu was great here and he will be fine without Jacob Fatu as a main event player.

Zilla Fatu won via pinfall
3/5

Alex Zayne v. Microman

This was a fun match. There was some comedy with Microman but a lot of good lucha spots too.

After the match Parrow came out and attacked Microman and Nick Gage came out to make the save

Violence is Forever defended the GCW Tag Team Championship against Bob 'N Go v. Mane Event v. Hunter Drake and Rico Gonzalez

This match was what it was designed to be. A spot fest to showcase VIF

Violence is Forever retained via pinfall
2/5

Miyu Yamashita v. Joey Janela

This started slow for my liking but then turned into a pretty good Japanese-style match.

Joey Janela wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Effy v. Mance Warner in a Last Man Standing Match

This was a great match where Mance Warner was laying in a pool of blood but the fucking match got stopped when Effy poured gas on Mancer.

No Contest
2.75/5

Blake Christian defended the GCW Championship against Danhausen

This was a good match. Both people were entertaining and the Dusty finish with Danhausen beating Blake Christian then GM Matt Cardona restarting it was a nice touch.

Blake Christian retained via pinfall
2.75/5

Overall

Pretty nice show, I like where the Matt Cardona GM story is going and there wasn't a bad match on the show.

XPW:Baptized In Blood 4

Bestia 666 v. Bad Dude Tito

This was an average wrestling match. Bad Dude Tito did look impressive though.

Bestia 666 won via pinfall

2/5

Hardcore Hillbilly v. Mosh Pit Mike v. Chewey Martinez

This was the Hardcore Hillbilly show but other than him the match wasn't very good.

Chewey Martinez won via pinfall

1.75/5

Dirty Ron McDonald v. Tarzan Duran

This was an okay match where the violence started to pick up. We had a sawblade and Ron's flaming elbow used.

Dirty Ron McDonald won via pinfall

2.25/5

Mickie Knuckles v. Luidark Shaitan

I hated this for multiple reasons. The main ones being I couldn't see most of it because the camera crew sucked. And Because of the disrespect the moron on commentary showed Mickie Knuckles calling her "porkchop". That dude needs to fuck off and learn how to do his job right and respect the talent he's calling a match for.

N/A since it was unwatchable

JD Horror v. Judge Joe Dredd

This was a very good and violent match. Judge Joe Dredd is amazing and this was my first time seeing JD Horror but the act of him and giggles is great.

Judge Joe Dred won via pinfall

2.75/5

Rickey Shane Page v. Masada

This match was okay but too slow-paced for my liking.

Masada won via pinfall

2.25/5

Homeless Jimmy defended the XPW King of the Death Match Championship against Dr. Redacted

This match was good, from what I was able to watch of it but again, the fucking camera was not shot on the action for a good chunk of it. It wasn't as bad as the Mickie/Luidark match but still.

Homeless Jimmy retained via pinfall

2.5/5

Shlak defended the XPW Championship against Eric Ryan

This was a good match. Both men beat the shit out of each other and covered everyone in glass in the process, plus they got the shock of a new champ.

Eric Ryan won the XPW Championship via pinfall

3/5

Overall

This show had some good stuff on it, the main event in particular but the production was shit and the verbal attack on Mickie Knuckles was even shittier. I'm late to the party so Rob Black has addressed what I didn't like about the show before I watched it so we will see what happens at the next show.

GCW: Dream On 2025

Lucky 13 came out and insulted the crowd, then Hacksaw Jim Duggan came out and insulted Lucky 13. Ray Jaz came out and attacked Lucky 13. ...
