ICW NHB 69

Waves and Curls v. The Pillars

We started off with a Tag Team Match. This match started with some high-flying. The Pillars were hitting Brandyn with a cookie sheet. Jordan hit Tommy Vendetta with a water gun. Tommy Vendetta did John Cena's moves on Waves and Curls. This was a decent tag match with a bit much comedy for me.

The Pillars won via pinfall

2.5/5

Tank v. Little Mean Kathleen

Tank hit Kathleen with a Thumbtack Bat. I really wish Little Mean Kathleen would lay her stuff in more. Little Mean Kathleen and the referee put Tank through a door. Kathleen got in a good shot with a keyboard to Tank's head, but Tank finished Kathleen off with a Sidewalk Slam through a chair and a Saito suplex through a door. This match started off rough, but towards the end, it was decent.

Tank won via pinfall

2.25/5

  JT Dunn v. Danny Demanto

JT Dunn gave Danny Demanto a headshot with a chair. After some good Hardcore wrestling Demanto gave Dunn a great back body drop through a door. JT Dunn gave Danny a Burning Hammer through a board of cans. Danny got Dunn with the popper bat and the Demanto driver to finish JT Dunn off. This was a very good match that incorporated Death Match with legit wrestling well.

Danny Demanto won via pinfall

3/5

Nathan Mowery v. Alex Stretch

Mowery and Stretch started off wrestling around in Thumbtacks. Mowery used a chopper for veggies on Stretch. Mowery then cut Stretch with a jigsaw. After hitting an insane hurricane, I can't describe here, Stretch got back at Mowery with the jigsaw. Alex Stretch used Freddy Krueger's hands on Nathan Mowery. These two jammed gusset plates into each other. Alex Stretch put Mowery through a door bridge, but due to the distraction of the Rev, Mowery was able to get Stretch and drive him face-first onto a chair. This was a great match and Nathan Mowery put on another classic in ICW.

Nathan Mowery won via pinfall

4/5

Kaplan v. Matt Tremont v. Slade

Kaplan put Matt Tremont through a door. Slade then came out and inserted himself into the match. Slade, Tremont, and Kaplan had a tack bat exchange. Tremont stabbed Kaplan in the head with a fork. This was a short and bloody hoss fight. The only issue with me is it was too short.

Matt Tremont won via pinfall

2.5/5

The Cogar Brothers v. Bobby Beverly and Krule

Otis and Atticus started strong attacking Beverly with a pizza pan and skewers. The Cogar Brothers were beating on Bobby Beverly relentlessly until Krule came out to make the save. These men brawled around the building. Otis attacked Bobby Beverly with a Thumbtack Bat. Otis Cogar used a straight razor on Bobby Beverly. Otis Cogar and Krule had a chop exchange. All four of these men had a great wrestling exchange to end this. This was a great tag match and added fuel to the 44OH split feud and put Krule back in the mix.

Bobby Beverly and Krule won via pinfall

4/5

For ICW NHB being limited at this venue in Boston, this was a great and very violent show. There were 2 certified bangers in Mowery/Stretch and Cogars/Beverly and Krule. The rest of the card wasn't bad either.

CZW:26th Anniversary

Brando Lee, Drew Valen and Journey Burke v. J. Bouji, Handyman Jake Gray and Mookie Summers

We kick off this show with a 6 person tag. Handyman Jake Gray smacked J. Bouji with a wrench on accident that was pretty funny. Other than that this match didn't do anything for me.

Brando Lee, Drew Valen, and Journey Burke won via pinfall

0.75/5

Judge Joe Dred v. Jimmy Controversy

This was an open challenge Judge Joe Dred issued and Jimmy Controversy answered it. Judge Joe Dred suplexed the fuck out of Jimmy Controversy. Jimmy Controversy did get some offense but this was just a glorified squash match. It was what it was.

Judge Joe Dred won via pinfall

1.75/5

They did a Hall of Fame induction for the late Justice Pain. Nick Gage accepted the award for Justice Pain, and Judge Joe Dred came out and interrupted the ceremony to call out Nick Gage. Gage and Dred got into a brawl the Alex Colon came out. Kinda weird if you ask me

Samwell Thompson v. Juni Underwood

I liked Juni Underwood but this match wasn't too good. It was short and Samwell Thompson didn't click with me.

Juni Underwood won via pinfall

1.75/5

Zayda Steel v. Zara Zachar

This was very slow and had only 2 cool spots. I know these two could have had a better match.

Zara Zachar won via pinfall

0.75/5

E.N. Bush v. Matty Quay

Well, this was a brawl outside of the ring, so the match never got started.

No Contest

NA

Marcus Mathers defended the IWTV Championship against Rich Swann

Finally a good match on this show. This was a good, fast-paced wrestling match from 2 people who can go.

Marcus Mathers retained via pinfall

3/5

There was some tag team thing I didn't understand

Tarzan Duran v. Jimmy Lloyd

We finally had a Death Match. Jimmy Lloyd used an axe on Tarzan. Tarzan used a spike on Jimmy Lloyd. There was some barbed wire used then Jimmy Lloyd hit the assault driver for the victory. There was nothing too crazy with this match but this was still enjoyable.

Jimmy Lloyd won via pinfall

2.75/5

Shlak then made a surprise appearance and cut a promo on CZW.

Alex Colon v. Nick Gage

We had a battle of legends here. Alex Colon broke a beer bottle and jammed the end of the bottle into Nick Gage's head. Nick Gage busted a tube bundle over Alex Colon. Even though Colon was a bloody mess he hit a beautiful frog splash onto a tube bundle. Nick Gage gave Alex Colon a superplex onto a pile of screws. Nick Gage used his pizza cutter on Alex Colon. Judge Joe Dred came out and attacked Nick Gage, then a Masked man took out Alex Colon, and Judge Joe Dred and Nick Gage hit the choke breaker for the win. After the match, it was revealed that the Masked man was Rickey Shane Page. This was a great main event by two Death Match legends.

Nick Gage won via pinfall

4.5/5

Overall

The Mathers/Swann and Lloyd/Tarzan matches were good, and the main was great, but the actual wrestling on this show was god-awful and brought this show down significantly. This had way too much bad wrestling and was not an enjoyable show.

GCW: So Much Fun 2025

Austin Luke v. Bobby Flacco v. Charles Mason v. Jack Cartwheel v. Marcus Mathers v. Gringo Loco

Of course, we started with a scramble. This was your typical scramble.

Gringo Loco won via pinfall

3/5

Tyler Franks v. Tony Deppen

This was an alright hard-hitting match.

Tony Deppen won via pinfall

2/5

Hunter Drake v. Zayda Steel

There wasn't much to this match. Too many fake-outs for my liking.

Zayda Steel won via pinfall

1/5

Masha Slamovich defended the JCW Championship against Matthew Justice

Masha and Justice were using ladders and chairs on each other Matthew Justice gave Masha Slamovich a fisherman's brainbuster through 2 doors off of a ladder. Masha got Justice with an air raid crash through a door. Masha finished off Matthew Justice with a white knight driver. This was a great match that was very hard-hitting.

Masha Slamovich retained via pinfall

3.5/5

Gahbage Daddies defended the GCW Tag Team Championship against the Batiri

This was a good match and it showcased how good Gagbage Daddies are.

Garbage Daddies retained via pinfall

2.75/5

Richard Holliday v. Parrow

Richard Holliday cut a promo on Parrow then he got squashed.

Parrow won via pinfall

0.25/5

Hoodfoot v. Jimmy Lloyd v. Ciclope v. Slade v. John Wayne Murdoch v. Dr. Redacted

This was a Death Match scramble, so this was a scramble I could get behind. We had a tube exchange early. Slade and Redacted busted a trash can lid over each other's heads. Ciclope speared John Wayne Murdoch through a door. Jimmy Lloyd put a syringe through Ciclope's eye. John Wayne Murdoch injected Slade with a tranquilizer. Ciclope elbowed a tube into Hoodfoot's head. And Redacted finished it with a frog splash onto Ciclope who was wearing a trash can.

Dr. Redacted won via pinfall

3.25/5

Jay Lucas and Terry Yaki v. The Cogar Brothers

The Cogar Brothers dominated the match, but then Fuego Del Sol and Mr. Danger came out and interrupted and called out the Cogar Brothers.

No Contest

1/5

Matt Tremont defended the Ultraviolent Championship against Beastman

This was Tremont's first defense of the Ultraviolent Championship. The corners were covered in tubes and we started the match with Tremont getting put through the tubes. Beastman hit Tremont with a tube and barbed wire-covered walker. Tremont stabbed Beastman in the head with a fork. Tremont hit Beastman with a light tube fan and Beastman fell outside of the ring through some chairs below. Tremont speared Beastman through a barbed wire door. Tremont finished the match with a splash with a tube bundle. This was a great match and Beastman got to show us in the US how good he has gotten in Japan.

Matt Tremont retained via pinfall

3.5/5

Overall

This was a decent show. It was a hard feat to follow the previous night's show, but the 2 main events, the Masha/Justice and the Opening scramble, all delivered.

GCW:Ashes To Ashes 2025

Terry Yaki v. Bobby Flacco v. Hunter Drake v. Jay Lucas v. Jack Cartwheel v. Jimmy Lloyd

We started with a scramble. It was a typical scramble with many high spots and wrestling things.

Jimmy Lloyd won via pinfall

3/5

Zayda Steel v. Tony Deppen

This was an okay wrestling match. Zayda Steel has potential and Tony Deppen is one of the best unsigned wrestlers right now. This wasn't bad.

Tony Deppen won via pinfall

2.5/5

Garbage Daddies (Cole Radrick and Alec Price)defended the GCW Tag Team Championship against Legion of Rot (Frightmare and Hallowicked)

Gahbage Daddies defended the titles against 2 chikara legends. This was a good wrestling match mixed with some good comedy spots especially Perch scaring the Legion of Rot. I enjoyed this one.

Gahbage Daddies retained via pinfall

2.75/5

Violence is Forever v. Matt Tremont and Ciclope

Matt Tremont started off by stabbing Kevin Ku in the head with a fork after VIF came out and attacked Gahbage Daddies. Ciclope speared Kevin Ku through a door. Ciclope did a splash off a high ladder onto Kevin Ku who was on a door bridge below. This match ended abruptly with Gagbage Daddies coming out to Attack violence is Forever. The match was a good and very bloody match but the finish killed it.

No Contest

2.5/5

Charles Mason v. Gringo Loco

Charles Mason put Gringo Loco through a table. Other than that, this was a straightforward wrestling match. It was okay.

Gringo Loco won via pinfall

2/5

Atticus Cogar v. Fuego Del Sol

This was a well-wrestled match by both men, and the only death match-type stuff done were a few chair spots and Atticus using the skewers. Other than that, it was a fast-paced indie match. I enjoyed this.

Fuego Del Sol won via pinfall

3/5

Effy defended the GCW Championship against Slade

Effy and Slade had a chair-throwing exchange. Slade busted a tube over Effy. Effy stabbed Slade with the end of a tube. Effy finished the match with a Death Valley driver through a barbed wire door in the corner. This was a great match and a good way to start the Ultraviolent festivities in AC this weekend.

Effy retained via pinfall

3/5

Hoodfoot v. Dr. Redacted in a Tournament of Survival Qualifying Match

A TOS spot was on the line here. Hoddfoot gave Redacted a bulldog onto some chairs that were stood up sideways. These two busted tubes over each other. Hoodfoot put Redacted through a barbed wire board. These two used an Ironing board on each other. These two broke tubes over each other. Hoodfoot gave Redacted a brainbuster through a pane of glass. Redacted finished this off with a splash onto a garbage can. This was a very good match.

Dr. Redacted qualified for the Tournament of Survival via pinfall

4.25/5

Mr. Danger v. John Wayne Murdoch

Mr. Danger dove with a tube bundle. John Wayne Murdoch used a gusset ping pong paddle on Mr. Danger. Mr. Danger got blasted with tubes by John Wayne Murdoch. Mr. Danger got back body dropped outside of the ring, and went through a table covered in tubes. John Wayne Murdoch used a weedwhacker on Mr. Danger. Mr. Danger did a Swanton off of a lift. Mr. Danger jumped off the lift again and did a coast-to-coast to Murdoch with a pane of glass stood up in the corner. John Wayne Murdoch finished off the match with a Deep South destroyer through a tube bundle for the finish. This was a great match, and I want more of Death Match, Mr. Danger.

John Wayne Murdoch won via pinfall

3.75/5

After that, John Wayne Murdoch challenged Mr. Danger to a House of Horrors Match at TOS.

Overall

This was a great return to the showboat, and I miss GCW doing Death Matches, hence the lack of coverage on GCW here. This was one of GCW's best efforts in a while.

WLWxRPW: Strange Brew 2025

Aaron Ashura v. Onyx Andretti v. Prince Hernandez v. Dex Royal

We had a 4 way to start things off. This was your standard high-flying, indie scramble-type match. It was there.

Ashton Ashura won via pinfall

1.5/5

Brothers of Deconstruction (Gregory Iron and Zach Thomas) defended the RPW Tag Team Championship against Koda Hernandez and Alfonso Gonzalez

This was Brothers of Deconstruction's first title defense. The match was decent. Brothers of Deconstruction looked great, and it was cool to see Freelance Boys doing their thing elsewhere. However, the bulk of the match didn't stand out.

Brothers of Deconstruction retained via pinfall

1.75/5

Isiah Moore v. Davey Vega

We had another local match. This one was very good. Isiah Moore reminded me of Ricochet in the early years and Davey Vega was a great heel. This was a nice wrestling match.

Isaiah Moore won via pinfall

3/5

Twist and Flip defended the WLW Dynamic Duos Championships against Bang and Matthews

I didn't know what to expect from this match. This was a nice high-paced tag team match where both teams were mirror images of each other.

Twist and Flip retained via pinfall

2.75/5

Hoodfoot defended the RPW Championship against Dale Patricks

The match started out with Dake Patricks jamming a gusset plate into Hoodfoot's head. Hoodfoot busted open Dale Patricks with a cookie sheet. Hoodfoot gave Dale Patricks a Saito suplex off the ramp through a door for the finish. This was a nice way to start the violent portion of the weekend and a good match.

Hoodfoot retained via pinfall

2.5/5

Atticus Cogar v. Eric Dillinger

These two started with some good wrestling. Atticus Cogar then beat Eric Dillinger with a chair. Eric Dillinger gave Atticus a leg drop through a door bridge. Atticus did his Skewer spot. This was a good match with some cool athletic spots, I just wish this was longer.

Atticus Cogar won via pinfall

2.5/5

MM3 v. Tommy Trainwreck

These two got the light tubes out. MM3 did a nice top. These two had another tube exchange.  This was a nice match that had great wrestling mixed with some cool tube spots. This also showed me how MM3 might be one of the best on the scene right now.

Tommy Trainwreck won via pinfall

3/5

Remington Rhor defended the Kamikaze Championship against Chuck Stein

We had two of the finest in the Midwest going at it here. Chuck Stein busted out the tubes to start the match. Remington Rhor got his receipt on the tube shots. Chuck Stein utilized a barbed wire bat on Remington Rhor. Remington Rhor used a pizza cutter bat on Chuck Stein. Chuck Stein used syringes in Remington Rhor's eye. Remington Rhor finished the match by slamming Chuck Stein off the top rope through a tube cabin. This was a great match and these two showed out here. Keep both of these guys on your radar.

Remington Rhor retained via pinfall

3.25/5

Bobby V defended the WLW Pure Heart against Dr. Redacted

This is a long-awaited rematch from the Insane 8. Some guy I don't know because I'm not familiar with WLW got attacked by Bobby V, and Dr. Redacted before the match started. Redacted attacked Bobby V. With tubes before the match started. Bobby V got his receipt with the tubes and this man swings a Tube bundle hard. Dr. Redacted placed tubes on Bobby V. In the corner jumped off a standing chair and did a Cannonball into said corner. This one ended on a submission which I like Redacted has been working those into his offense. I liked this match; it was very intense and fast-moving. It just sucks that Bobby V

Didn't put the title on the line.

Dr. Redacted won via submission

2.75/5

This was a good show. Some of the actual wrestling impressed me. The last 3 matches were bangers too. I just wish a lot of the undercard had longer matches; other than that solid show, as usual from RPW and WLW, is now on my radar.

H2O: Hardcore Kingdom 8

Kaos Ctrl ( Sean Smith and Cecilio Vega) v. GG Everson and Leroy Robinson in a First-Round Match

So, to explain this edition of Hardcore Kingdom.  There are 4 First-Round matches.  If you win you go into a gauntlet in the main event. This was the first of those matches. After some good wrestling, Sean Smith double-stomped some trash can lids into GG Everson and Leroy Robinson. This match started off well but fell apart and got sloppy towards the end.

Kaos Ctrl advanced via pinfall

1.75/5

Matt Tremont and Braxx v. C.U.M ( Low Life Louie and Louie Jr.) In a First-Round Match

We started the second match of the first round with a nice strike exchange.  After some brawling outside Matt Tremont jammed a gusset plate into Louie Jr's arm. Matt Tremont hit Low Life Louie with a water jug stick. Louie Jr.  Hit Matt Tremont with a stick that had tacked on it. C.U.M. used straight Razors on Matt Tremont and Braxx. Matt Tremont busted a monitor over Low Life Louie's head.  This was a solid match that was fast-paced, but not fast enough. You'll miss things and be super violent.

Matt Tremont and Braxx advanced via pinfall

3.25/5

Marc Angel and Jimmy Chondo Lyon v. The Extricated (Bam Sullivan and Mouse)

This was our next First-Round Match.  Marc Angel used a gusset plate on Bam Sullivan.  Jimmy Chondo Lyon used spiky Legos on Bam Sullivan. Jimmy Chondo Lyon used a popper bat on Bam Sullivan to break up a pin.  This was a nice match. There was some cool stuff in it weapon-wise, but there were a few clunky spots, and this was slow at times.

The Extricated advanced via pinfall

2.5/5

Snack Pack (Jess Moss and JB Anderson) v. Peace, Love, and Death Match (Alex Stretch and Anthraxx)

This was our last First-Round Match. Jess Moss started the match with a dive. Peace Love and Death Match jammed a gusset into JB Anderson's head. Alex Stretch was thrown through carpet strips that were set up on the ropes.  JB Anderson used a gusset cross on Alex Stretch. This was a really good match with a lot of chaotic violence, just the way I like it.

Peace, Love, and Death Match won via pinfall

3/5

Neil Diamond Cutter defended the Danny Havoc Hardcore Championship against Kit Osbourne

This was an open challenge that a returning Kit Osbourne answered. I'm glad Kit is back and hopefully takes the run he deserves on this one. Kit Osbourne gave Neil Diamond Cutter a slam onto a chair that was on its side. These two threw chairs at each other.  Neil Diamond Cutter gave Kit Osbourne a brainbuster onto a chair. Kit Osbourne gave Neil Diamond a Cutter and elbow onto a slab of Cinderblocks. Kit Osbourne hit Neil Diamond Cutter with cinderblocks. Neil Diamond Cutter gave Kit Osbourne a Death Valley driver onto Cinderblocks they ended this one on some good wrestling. This was a solid match with some crazy bumps on those cinderblocks.

Neil Diamond Cutter retained via pinfall

3.5/5

Deklan Grant defended the H2O Championship against Low Life Louie

After going to war in Hardcore Kingdom Low Life Louie is coming out for a title match. Deklan Grant headbutted Low Life Louie to the point he bled. Even though the crowd really wanted Louie to win this was really just Deklan Grant beating down Louie and them furthering the story or Deklan Grant and Austin Luke running over H2O. I was disappointed by the match.

Deklan Grant retained via pinfall

1.5/5

Hardcore Kingdom Tag Team Turmoil

This is a gauntlet match the Team of GG Everson and Leroy Robinson and the Extricated started this off. After some wrestling The Extricated advanced by pinning Leroy Robinson. Peace, Love, and Death Match came out next. We had Anthraxx using a barbed wire board on Mouse. Alex Stretch went through a barbed wire board. Peace Love and Death Match put syringes through the cheeks of Bam Sullivan.  Mouse gave Alex Stretch a sliced bread through a barbed wire board.  Then, With the assistance of Mouse and a chair, Bam Sullivan pinned Anthraxx for the Extricated to advance. Then their final challenge was Matt Tremont and Braxx. Matt Tremont put both of them Extricated through barbed wire boards. Bam Sullivan put a gusset plate into Matt Tremont. And just like that Matt Tremont and Braxx won. This was honestly a solid match, and I hope to see this again next year.

Matt Tremont and Braxx won Hardcore Kingdom 8 via pinfall

3/5

This was a fun show. The Hardcore Kingdom tournament and finals were good and the Neil Diamond Cutter/Kit Osbourne match was great.

GCW: Dream On 2025

Lucky 13 came out and insulted the crowd, then Hacksaw Jim Duggan came out and insulted Lucky 13. Ray Jaz came out and attacked Lucky 13. ...
