GCW:World On Lucha 2023
Saturday, April 22, 2023
ICW NHB:45
Crowbar is in this so I'm not expecting a lot of crazy spots. Crowbar is looking good in this match. There was a spot where Crowbar put Akira's mouth on the back of the chair and swang at it. This was a decent match. Akira can always wrestle great and Crowbar looked really good tonight.
Akira wins via pinfall
2.75/5
Jeff Cannonball v. Mickie Knuckles
Mickie Knuckles and Jeff Cannonball started the match by giving Darren McCarthy a Lapdance for his birthday. Then the match officially starts with some tubes. These two are smacking eachother with anything that's not nailed down. The water jug spots were brutal. Jeff Cannonball is bleeding perfusely. This was a good match. Very violent but yet fun.
Mickie Knuckles wins via pinfall
3/5
Kasey Kirk v. LuFisto
Kasey Kirk smacked LuFisto with a tack bat. Kasey has a really bad nose bleed but props to her for gutting it out,of coarse she did that's what she does. This ended up being a decent match. Seemed rushed but I'm sure that's because Kasey had to get checked out.
Kasey Kirk wins via pinfall
2.75/5
Danny Demanto v. Matt Tremont
They started off the match trading tube shots. Matt Tremont is laying in those chair shots. Matt Tremont tried to give a death valley driver to Danny Demanto but thr chairs gave out from the weight and it looked like Tremont hurt his leg. The match was decent and both men went hard but the botch at the end kind of took away from it.
Matt Tremont wins via pinfall
2/5
Dr. Redacted v. Danny Darko
Redacted threw those tubes at Danny Darko so hard. Redacted jammed gusset plates into each leg of Danny Darko then jumped off the top chain wearing a garbage can with tubes on it. Danny Darko hit a lariat for the win. The was a decent match but the finish seemed rushed.
Danny Darko wins via pinfall
2.75/5
John Wayne Murdoch v. Tommy Vendetta
And we have tubes. Both men are just gushing blood. John Wayne Murdoch super plexed Tommy Vendetta onto all the broken glass in the ring. In one of the most painful spots I've seen John Wayne Murdoch got superplexed onto a door full of legos, that hurts more than tacks. The finish was JWM hitting a snow Plow on Tommy Vendetta. This was a great match. Just hard hitting action.
John Wayne Murdoch wins via pinfall
4/5
Brandon Kirk defends the American Death Match Championship against Hoodfoot
More tubes and gussets in this one. Brandon Kirk wearing all white is a bold move. Hoodfoot went through a door and tube contraption outside of the ring. Hoodfoot is just bleeding buckets. Brandon put a knife to Hoodfoot 's neck and got a submission but Danny Demanto restarted the match and Hoodfoot hit the PSYCHODRIVERFUCKYOURLIFE to end the match. Really good match and great way to end the show.
Hoodfoot wins the American Death Match Championship via pinfall

Another scramble. Between this and mainly GCW I want a different match.
Jacob Austin Young wins via submission
1/5
Travis Williams and Judas Icarus v. State of Emergency
That bouncing off the rope and kick thing Miles Deville did was sick. This Williams and Icarus tag team can really do some cool stuff and should be booked elsewhere. State of Emergency is really impressing me too and I would love to see them on more shows too.this match was really good and honestly this is the future of Tag Team Wrestling right here. They may be having this match in front of 20 people here but in 2 years this will be on a way bigger stage.
State of Emergency wins via pinfall
4.5/5
Vinnie Massaro v. Alice Crowley
Wasn't much to this match. I wasn't very into it.

This was a pretty slow but boring match although, the finish Calvin Tankman uses is pretty cool.
Calvin Tankman wins via pinfall
1/5
Big Damo v. Jacob Fatu
A guy the size of Big Damo should not be able to do a Shotgun DropKick. This is just an athletic hoss fight and I love it. That pop up Samoan Driver to Big Damo was a feat. I loved this match.
Jacob Fatu wins via pinfall
2.75/5
Jake Something v. AJ Gray
When AJ Gray does a lariot it literally looks like it can take someone's head off. AJ Gray doing an Alabama Jam was great too. This was another good match. Your standard hoss fight.
AJ Gray wins via pinfall
2.75/5
Shane Mercer v. Christian Napier
I love how Shane Mercer can just throw anyone against there will. Christian Napier is a really good, cocky heel. Shane Mercer ended the match by throwing Christian Napier through a door into a dumpster. This match was fun but I could have used more or it.
Shane Mercer wins via pinfall
2/5
Drexl and Funny Bone v. State of Emergency 3:18:00
Drexl gave Miles Deville a paper cut on the mouth then both of State of Emergency got stapled in the nuts by Drexl. State of Emergency to tear it up maybe 2 hours before this and then have this caliber of a match with these guys is phenomenal. They need to be booked more. This match was a great tag team match.
Drexl and Funny Bone win via pinfall
3/5
Spyder Nate Webb v. Jamie Senegal
Jamie Senegal through a chair at Spyder Nate Webb so hard. This match was just ok. Other than the chair spot Jamie Senegal didn't do it for me. Nate Webb looked good though.

Jimmy Lloyd v. Atticus Cogar
Both men are bleeding and throwing eachother into ropes with scissors and skewers on them. Jimmy Lloyd piledrove Atticus onto tubes. Atticus skewered Jimmy Lloyd. This was a good match. Towards the end it felt rushed though and that's just when it was getting good.

Eric Ryan v. Clint Margera in a Terrakata Taipei Death Match
Eric Ryan got back dropped into the Terrakata. Now these guys are slamming eachother onto tubes. The match ended with Eric Ryan punching Clint Margera in the face with Terrakata until he was unconscious. For me not liking the Taepei Death match stipulation this was good.
Eric Ryan wins via referee stoppage
2.75/5
Dr. Redacted v. Otis Cogar
Otis Cogar just threw Dr. Redacted from one corner of the ring into the other. Dr. Redacted jumped off the top of a wall through a dumpster onto Otis Cogar. Dr Redacted got smacked with a shovel. Otis Cogar took a straight razor to Redacted then took a bowling ball to the nuts. The match ended with Otis handcuffing Redacted and bludgeoning him with a chair. Foley style but not as bad. Great match the way a violent match should be.
Otis Cogar wins via pinfall
3.25/5
Bobby Beverly v. Matthew Justice is a Clockwork Orange House of Doom Death Match
This match is off to a hot start. Tubes barbed wire they got it all. We're two minutes in and Matthew Justice is already a bloody messy. Bobby Beverly suplexed Matthew Justice onto Terrakata. Now the Bev is bleeding perfusely. Matthew Justice jumped off the roof onto Bobby Beverly. The Bev suplexed Justice onto a pile of fuckery. What an insane match. These two both went all out and I loved it.

Circle 6:Wrestlemania Weekend Day 1
The Goddamn Candy Man v. Mick Moretti
I just saw a wet willy in a wrestling match. Mick Moretti did a cool hand stand thing where he kicked someone in the face. For what this match was it wasn't bad. It's just a weird vibe because this show is very punk rock and there's almost no one there.

Hoodfoot larioted MM3's head off. MM3 broke a cinder block with a hammer over hoodfoot's hand. Hoodfoot did a brain buster to MM3 onto a chair. This was a good match. Only thing is for a Cinderblock Match not a lot of Cinderblocks were used.

West Coast v. The World
This Is a standard 10 person tag. Action moving so fast its hard to call. Did not know this was elimination but this is cool. Since there was no real intros and I'm not too familiar with most of the people in this match I can't go by who individually killed it but this match is good.

Kevin Knight really has something special and he can jump really high. Myron Reed is a really good High Flyer and he's another one who I don't know why he's not on more shows.
