ICW NHB 57

Dr. Redacted v. Otis Cogar

This match was a blood bath. The straight razor spot Otis does gets me every time. And the Bump where Redacted got tossed from one end of the ring through the pane of glass was great too.

Otis Cogar wins via referee stoppage
3/5

J. Boujii v. Homicide

This was a so-so match but it was a treat to see Homicide. That Cop Killer was brutal.

Homicide wins via submission
1.75/5

Krule v. Atticus Cogar

This was an okay match. But the Promo Atticus did where he was trying to get Krule to light him on fire made this match for me. I'm excited to see what this leads to.

Krule wins via pinfall
2/5

Danny Demanto v. Jay Sawyer

This was a great match and I think a new star in the world of Death Match Jay Sawyer was born here. I've seen this dude do ring crew in GCW and to see him take advantage of an opportunity and tear it up in his ICW debut was great. I mean that splash he gave Danny through the door, Fuck! More Jay, please.

Danny Demanto wins via pinfall
3.75/5

The Pillars v. 44OH

This was a good match but way too short. I miss having the Bev and Eric Ryan in an ICW ring.

The Pillars win via pinfall
2/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match Championship against Matt Tremont

This was a good hoss fight. And this had the surprise of a new champ.

Matt Tremont wins the American Death Match Championship via pinfall
2.75/5

This was a good match. Both people here were spectacular and I want to see more of Noah Veil in the future.

Keita Murray wins via pinfall
2.5/5

Runway v. Creeps

This was an okay match. It was your average tag match but the Creeps were good.

Creeps win via pinfall
1.5/5

Jai Vidal v. Rico Gonzalez

This was an amazing match. Both athletes were at the top of their game. Both of them stepped it up and that styles clash variation Jai Vidal gave was great. The crowd loved it and I loved it.

Rico Gonzalez wins via pinfall
3.5/5

Ron Bass Jr. V. Kaitlyn Marie v. Saraya Saber v. Sigrid, Daughter of Tir v. Khan O'Kelley v. Josh Locke

This was a scramble but it was better than your average GCW scramble. Ron Bass Jr, Kaitlyn Marie in particular, and Saraya Saber all impressed me and I want them on future GCW shows.

Saraya Saber wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Billie Dixon v. Maidkira

This was fun to watch and Maidkira was very entertaining.

Billie Dixon wins via pinfall
2/5

Karam v. Parrow

This was a pretty good match. It was a hoss fight and had all the strong man spots.

Parrow wins via pinfall
2.5/5

Dark Sheik v. Che Monet

This was a great match. Dark Sheik put on her best performance yet and I'm feeling the purple look. The Monet was very impressive too.  Props to these two.

Dark Sheik wins via submission
3.5/5
Sawyer Wreck v. Lindsay Snow

This was a good hitting match. This was very violent which I liked. Lindsay Snow was amazing in this and I think she should be brought back to GCW sooner rather than later. The only bad thing was the wardrobe malfunction at the end, but there were professionals so they figured it out.

Sawyer Wreck wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Bussy v. MXM

This was a comedy match but it was very good. All four people in this can wrestle and the gimmicks worked well with each other.

Bussy wins via pinfall
2.75/5

This was a good match and this showcased all for women well.

Masha Slamovich wins via pinfall
2/5

Los Macizos and Rina Yamashita v. Gahbage and Mr. Danger

This was a good match. Mr. Danger can do crazy things like when he jumped off the ladder and did a flip. The finish where Miedo suplexed Ciclope off the ladder onto Mr. Danger who was waiting on a table below.

Los Macizos and Rina Yamashita win via pinfall
2.75/5

Mansoor v. Tony Deppen

This was a good match. Mansoor looked great here and I wouldn't mind seeing him back in GCW.

Jacob and Zilla Fatu v. Mane Event

This was an okay match but it showcased The Fatu's great.

2/5

Jai Vidal v. Jimmy Lloyd

This was okay and the Broski gimmick on Jimmy Lloyd continues to progress.

Jimmy Lloyd wins via pinfall
1.75/5

John Wayne Murdoch v. Gringo Loco

This was a great match. This was a clash of styles match with Gringo being the Lucha wrestler and JWM being the Death Match wrestler but both men adapted to the others style great and we even had Gringo Loco bleeding in this match.

Gringo Loco wins via pinfall
3/5

Violence is Forever defends the GCW Tag Team Championship against Culture Inc.

This was a cool ROH-style match. Culture in are very athletic and VIF are killers.

Violence is Forever retained via pinfall
2.5/5

Local Competitor v. The American Giant

This was a squash match straight off WCW Saturday Night.
The American Giant wins via pinfall
0.25/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Marcus Mathers

This was a good wrestling match. Marcus Mathers was a replacement for a sick Sawyer Wreck. I love that Blake has been using a submission as his finish lately as well.

Blake Christian retains via submission
2.75/5

Mance Warner v. Effy

Even though this was a non finish this was great. It was just a straight  up fight with a lot of blood and a lot of violence.  I cant wait to see where this story goes.

This was an okay match. It took a while to get going but once it did I was into it.

Sonjay Dutt wins via pinfall

Z-Barr and Greg Matthews v. Rick Feinberg and Hurricane Kid

This was a comedy match. For what this was it served its purpose.

Z-Barr and Greg Matthews win via pinfall
1.25/5

Ian Knoxx v. Adam Flash

I wasn't into this match. Neither man did anything for me here.

Ian Knoxx wins via pinfall
0.75/5

Nick Berk in a Submission Match Gauntlet

This wasn't too good either. It was just a series of squash matches.

Nick Berk wins via submission
0.75/5

Ric Blade v. GQ

This was a very sloppy match with some scary botches, but once they got the table spot in at the end it was cool.

Ric Blade wins via pinfall
1/5

Trent Acid defends the Junior Heavyweight Championship against Ruckus

This was a great match. Ruckus continued to amaze me with what he could do and god Trent Acid was so good. I liked the interference by referee Brian Logan and this was a banger of a match.

Ruckus wins the Junior Heavyweight Championship via pinfall
3.75/5

Messiah defends the CZW Championship against Nick Gage

This was an okay match. This had some cool brawling and Messiah could do some cool stuff but I needed more from this match.

Messiah retains via pinfall
2/5

Nate Hatred v. Zandig v. Sick Nick Mondo in a Fans Bring The Weapons Match

The amount of punishment these men took in this was inhuman. Great shit. These guys go suplexed through anything that wasn't nailed down. And if you wanna see why all these men are death match legends watch this match.

Nate Hatred wins via pinfall
3.5/5

H2O:Cage of Hell 2024

Duncan Aleem v. Cecilio Vega

This match wasn't great. Very sloppy but they got it together by the end.

Cecilio Vega wins via submission
0.75/5

Jess Moss and Deklin Grant defend the Hybrid Championship against The Cabinet

This match is hard to explain. If the Cabinet wins whoever gets the win gets the Hybrid Championship. If Moss/Grant wins the Cabinet must disband. The match had a cool brawl but I'm not into the Cabinet.

The Cabinet won via pinfall so President Hawkins is the new Hybrid Champion
0.75/5

Leroy Robinson v. Rocket
I enjoyed this match. Both men are very athletic and Rocket is on the path to being the next Ricochet or Will Ospereay.

Leroy Robinson wins via pinfall
2/5

Presidents Cabinet v. Nu Backseat Boyz

I enjoyed this match. Bonetti and Adonis are great heels and the Anthraxx situation with the Cabinet not teaming well with him is interesting. The Nu Backseats move like the old Backseats so that's good to see.

Nu Backseat Boyz win via pinfall
2/5

JB Anderson v. Low Life Louie Ramos in a Hardcore Rules Match

This was a great match. These two beat the shit out of each other and bled a lot. A can board was used as well as a fork board.

JB Anderson wins via pinfall
3/5

The Pillars defend the Tag Team Championship against GG Everson and Ryan Redfield

This was a decent match.  3 and Tommy keep showing how well they can work in regular matches so I'm all for that.

The Pillars retain via pinfall
2/5

Marcus Mathers defends the ETU Keys to the East Championship against Brian Neil and Kennedi Copeland

I enjoyed this match. Marcus Mathers is great. Kennedi Copeland has a lot of potential. And Brian Neil impressed me here.

Marcus Mathers retained via pinfall
2.25/5

Bam Sullivan defends the Danny Havoc Hardcore Championship against Matt Tremont, Alex Stretch, Mouse, Jimmy Chondo Lyon, and Neil Diamond Cutter

This match was pure insanity. The bumps Alex Stretch took were unreal like the bump where he got eliminated by going off the ring apron through the barbed wire-covered pane of glass and where he got backdropped through a barbed wire net by Bam. Alex Stretch hammered a gusset plate into NDC's head. And the spot where Mouse went into the electrified cage wall was great. There was a lot of violence and everyone bled buckets. What's not to love?

Alex Stretch was eliminated by being thrown through a glass pane wrapped in barbed wire outside  by Matt Tremont
Neil Diamond Cutter and Jimmy Chondo Lyon eliminated by going off a ladder through a contraption
Mouse was eliminated by being pinned by Matt Tremont
Matt Tremont was eliminated by Bam Sullivan via pinfall

GCW:56 Birdz 2024

Violence Is Forever defends the GCW Tag Team Championship against The Rejects and Bang and Matthews

This was a good match. VIF and Bang and Matthews kept up their momentum from the previous night and The Rejects showed that they can hang. I mean that destroyer JWM pulled from the doomsday device position was sick.

Violence is Forever retained via pinfall
2.75/5

Jack Cartwheel v. Oni El Bendito

This Match was okay but Oni El Bendito is great.

Oni El Bedito wins via pinfall
2/5

Rich and Powerful v. PME

I like the Rich and Powerful storyline but I wasn't into this match.

Rich and Powerful win via pinfall
1/5

Jimmy Lloyd v. Manders

The more Jimmy Lloyd embraces this Broski gimmick the more I like it.

Jimmy Lloyd wins via pinfall

This was a fun match. Rina and Macizos are great together and Alec Price is an amazing wrestler.

Rina Yamashita and Los Macizos win via pinfall
2.25/5

Lio Rush v. Myron Reed

This was a great match. When Lio Rush is motivated there are few better and Myron Reed, between Chicago and this show, had a break-out weekend, if this is how he's gonna be I want to see him on every show.

Myron Reed wins via pinfall
3/5

Joey Janela defends the GCW Extreme Championship against Microman

This was a very entertaining match. A Microman match is very fun to watch and Joey Janela was a great opponent for him.

Joey Janela retains his pinfall
2.25/5

Hoodfoot v. Josh Bishop

This was a hoss fight. These two bludgeoned each other with pieces of doors and chairs and that Razor's Edge onto the backs of the chairs was great.

Josh Bishop wins via pinfall
2/5

Cole Radrick v. Jonathan Gresham

This match was decent but not my thing. Jonathan Gresham put on some muscle. Gresham is a great technician and Raddy Daddy kept up well but again, not a fan of technical wrestling and this was very much that style.

Jonathan Gresham wins via submission
2/5

GCW: No Compadre 2024

This was a great match. Violence is Forever are legit and Bang and Matthews are one of the best acts Chicago has to offer and I'm glad to see them killing it.

Violence is Forever retained via pinfall
3.5/5

Colt Cabana, Steph DeLander, and Jimmy Lloyd v. Bussy and Manders

Bussy and Manders win via pinfall
1.75/5

Joey Janela v. Myron Reed

This was a great match. Myron Reed showed me something in this match and Joey Janela had another too notch performance.

Joey Janela wins via pinfall
4.75/5

War Dogs v. Los Macizos

This was a good match. War Dogs are great heels and Los Macizos are amazing.  This had some good brawling spots and was hard-hitting

War dogs win via pinfall
2.25/5

Lio Rush v. Nick Wayne

This was a nice surprise to have Nick Wayne back in a GCW ring. Nick Wayne was a replacement for Jonathan Gresham. This was a good wrestling match where both men showcased what they could do in the ring.

Nick Wayne wins via pinfall
2.75/5

Latigo, Arez, and Demonic Flamita v. Oni El Bendito, Aramis, and Cole Radrick

This was a great match. Cole Radrick replaced Jack Cartwheel and this was what you know and love about GCW trios.

Latigo, Arez, and Demonic Flamita win via pinfall
4/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Calvin Tankman

I liked this match. Blake was again, a great heel and I'm enjoying Shane Mercer in the heater role. Tankman looked great here. He looked down a few lbs hit harder and moved faster.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
3/5

Shane Mercer v. Alec Price v. Josh Bishop v. Golden Dragon v. Brayden Toon v.  Parrow v. Microman

I'm usually not a fan of scrambles but this was good. The addition of Microman was as great as his balcony dive.

Shane Mercer wins via pinfall
3/5

Rina Yamashita defends the GCW Ultraviolent Championship against John Wayne Murdoch

At Thalia Hall, there's no glass allowed but these two proved something. You can have a Death Match without glass. We had Rina diving off a balcony. Gusset plates were used and a Rina's Edge was through a gusset door. We can all learn from this match.

Rina Yamashita retains via pinfall
3/5

Mance Warner v. Dan The Dad

This was a squash match but it furthered the SGC Break Up storyline. Shout out to Loren for taking a bump from Mancer after the match.

No  contest
1/5

Gringo Loco v. Mustafa Ali

This was a great match. I was almost certain Ali would put on a great performance and he did. I'm sure he came in with a chip on his shoulder and due to that killed it. The 450 to the outside was sick and went back and watched his entrance. Mustafa Ali will be fine without WWE holding him back. And Gringo fucking Loco. This man is so good and I'll say it. Is the best Chicago wrestling export. These two tore it up.

Mustafa Ali wins via  submission
3.25/5

This was your typical David v. Goliath match. HT Drake was impressive though.

Evan Mackie wins via pinfall
1/5

Tommbie v. BA Rose v. Antonio Gonzalez v. Jack Bennett in a Death in a Box Match

This match was insane. I mean that spot where they all stabbed each other in the face with objects made my stomach turn. All 4 of these men were great.

Tommbie wins via pinfall
3.5/5

Lou Nixon defends the Rise Underground Union Death Match Championship against Dean Ford in a Thumbtack Kick Pad Death Match

This was a decent match. Very MMA-influenced. These two kicked the shit out of each other. My only complaint is I coulda used more of it.

Lou Nixon retains via submission
2/5

Iceman v. Clint Margera in a Bundled-Up Death Match

This was a good match. As advertised a lot of tubes were used. I love that Clint Margera is in Prize Fighter, he's great and I love that great things are happening for him. Iceman is a legend and I hope I get to see him stateside one day.

Iceman wins via pinfall
3/5

Jack Harrop v. Alton Thorn is a Grass is Always Bloodier on the Other Side Death Match

This match had it all. Cacti, Flower pots, Weed wacker, and a barbed wire net. Great match just sucks it ended in a non-finish.

No Contest
3/5

Big Fn Joe v. Micheal Caden v. Danny Darko v. Neil Diamond Cutter

This was a great match. Big Fn Joe always uses tubes the best and tonight between him stabbing people with them and using coathangers he impressed me as usual. Danny Darko bled like a motherfucker and Neil Diamond Cutter is very underrated. I mean that senton he gave Joe through the glass pane that shattered it into the camera may be one of the coolest camera angles I've seen.

Neil Diamond Cutter wins via pinfall
4.5/5

ICW NHB:SPO Battle of the Tough Guys 2023

MM3 v. Kevin Ku

This was a good wrestling match and under normal circumstances, I would love this but this is a Death Match tournament and that's not what I wanna see.

Kevin Ku advances via pinfall
2.25/5

Kristian Ross v. Chris Bradley

This was a good match. I was impressed by how much both men have improved in the ring and this was the Hoss fight I wanted from these two.

Kristian Ross advances via pinfall
2.75/5

Matt Makowski v. Dominic Garrini

This was kind of the grapple style I didn't like so I don't think I can be objective. It wasn't my thing but I'm sure someone liked it.

Matt Makowski advances  via submission
1.5/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match Championship against Bojack

This was good and Bojack had a good showing.

Hoodfoot retains and advances via pinfall

Tommy Vendetta advances via pinfall
2.25/5

Brandon Kirk v. Colby Corino

This was a good match. It was great to see Brandon Kirk return and Colby Corino is a great wrestler. These two beat the shot put off each other with chairs and I got to see a PSYCHODRIVERFUCKYOURLIFE after months.

3.25/5

Kaplan v. Josh Bishop

This was a good-ass hoss fight. This reminded me of a Godzilla movie.

Kaplan advances via pinfall
2.75/5

Jaden Newman v. Matt Tremont

This was a great match. This was very violent and had all the fuckery. I love the KillDozer gimmick Tremont has taken on.

Jaden Newman advances via pinfall
3.5/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match against Kristian Ross

This was a good match. Both men beat the shit out of each other.  Hoodfoot bled profusely. The finish was sick with Hoodfoot doing the Saito through a door/cinder block contraption.

Hoodfoot retains and advances via pinfall
2.25/5
Matt Makowski v. Jaden Newman

I wasn't into this. To me, this was a boring technical match and I didn't see enough violence.

Jaden Newman advances via pinfall
1/5

Brandon Kirk v. Tommy Vendetta

This was a very intense match and it felt like a real fight. No real Death Match spots but this worked.

Brandon Kirk advances via pinfall
2.75/5

Kaplan v. Kevin Ku

This was a very short match and I didn't see much from it.
Kaplan advances via pinfall
0.75/5

Jaden Newman v. Brandon Kirk

This was a good match but very short. Jaden Newman is so damn good. That spot where Jaden did the Jung Wu Drop Kick to Brandon Kirk through the door was sick.

Jaden Newman advances via pinfall
2/5

Hoodfoot defends the American Death Match against Kaplan

This was a hoss fight but again and this seems to be the story of the tournament too short

Hoodfoot retains and advances via pinfall
1/5

Circle 6:King of the Death Match 2023

AJ Gray v. Otis Cogar in a Blunt Force Trauma Match

This was a good match. It was a blunt-force trauma match so there were a lot of headshots. The Suplex AJ Gray gave Otis through the chairs was great. And the ending with Otis being choked out by the chair was nuts.

AJ Gray advances via submission
3/5

Mao v. Bobby Beverly in an Ultraviolent Baptism Match

This was good. Mao is a great wrestler but in the Death Match world is a bit out of place. Forgot how hard the Bev swings a light tube.

Bobby Beverly advances via pinfall
2.5/5

Spyder Nate Webb v. Dale Patricks in a Tables, Ladders and Tubes Match

This was okay. It was kind of short but it was cool to see Spyder Nate Webb jumping off of ladders after all these years.

Dale Patricks advances via pinfall
2.25/5

Orin Veidt v. Adam Priest in a Dog Collar Death Match

This was a weird match. Im not a fan of dog collar matches as is and Adam Priest randomly tapped to avoid being thrown through glass.
Orin Veidt advances via pinfall
1.75/5

Pagano v. Dr. Redacted in an Ultraviolent Casket Match

This was a good match but it was way too short. I get it is a tournament but I could have used more.

Pagano advances
2/5

Journey Fatu v. Atticus Cogar in a Barbed Wire Bundles Match

This was great. Journey Fatu is a killer and shows he is as athletic as Jacob Fatu. And after this Atticus has to be the master of the skewers as in the way he puts those in. Atticus touches the brain when he puts skewers in.

Atticus Cogar advances via pinfall
3/5

Matthew Justice defends the Circle 6 Championship against Homicide

This was a great match. Homicide looked like he did in 2006 here and that Balcony dive Matthew Justice did was insane. Great brawling too.

Matthew Justice retains via pinfall
3.25/5

Dale Patricks v. AJ Gray in a Taipei Death Match

I wasn't into this match.  Like I said before Taipei Death Matches aren't my thing. I like both guys in the match but yeah.

AJ Gray advances via submission
2/5

Orin Veidt v. Bobby Beverly in a Tokyo Towers Match

This was a great match. The only weapons used here were tubes but the guys delivered on that.  Bobby Beverly can swing tubes so hard and Orin Veidt giving assault drivers through the Tokyo towers was sick.

Bobby Beverly advances via pinfall
3.25/5

Pagano v. Atticus Cogar in a Pane Killer Match

This was a great match. Pagano busted out some gross-looking submissions here. And that Moonsault Atticus did through the glass pane was sick.

Atticus Cogar advances via pinfall
3/5

Bobby Beverly v. AJ Gray v. Atticus Cogar in a House of Doom Match for the King of the Death Match Trophy

This was a good way to end the tournament. Atticus came out and yelled at the ring crew so they didn't get the entire House of Doom. However, this didn't hinder the match. The story is about Atticus and Bev teaming up against AJ Gray to eliminate him and then destroy each other.

Bobby Beverly wins King of the Death Match via pinfall
3/5

GCW: The Aftermath 2023

Violence is Forever defends the GCW Tag Team Championship against  Wasted Youth

This was a good match and it was cool to see Austin Luke in a GCW ring. VIF has grown on me and I'm liking this title run.

Violence is Forever retained via submission
2.75/5

Lio Rush v. Cole Radrick

Considering the injury to Cole Radrick earlier this match was okay. This moved kind of slowly for me but understandable.

Lio Rush wins via pinfall
2/5

Joey Janela defends the Extreme Championship against Emersyn Jayne

This was a great match. I think the world of Joey and Emersyn had a breakout performance in the NGI. These two went hard and in the end, Emersyn Jane got a please come back chant, and rightfully so.

Joey Janela retains via pinfall
3.5/5

Violento Jack v. Speedball Mike Bailey

This was an interesting mix of styles but it worked. Violento Jack showed the world that he is more than a Death Match wrestler.

Speedball Mike Bailey wins via pinfall
3.5/5

Charli Evans v. Risa Sera

This was a great match. Good to see Charli back in a GCW ring and Risa impressed me this weekend. Tubes, blood, and violence. What more could you want?

Charli Evans wins via pinfall
3.75/5

Daiku Wakamatsu v. John Wayne Murdoch

This was so fucking good. The airport robbed us of Wakamatsu in the NGI and I hate them for that. Wakamatsu can jump so high and I want to see more of him. JWM is a modern-day legend so add all the violence to this and that is the recipe for a great match.

John Wayne Murdoch wins via submission
4/5

Blake Christian defends the GCW Championship against Miedo Extremo

This was a good match. The story of this was the newfound alliance of Shane Mercer and Blake Christian against Los Macizos. And man you gotta see the kind of heat Blake gets at Showboat live.

Blake Christian retains via pinfall
2.75/5

Do or Die Rumble

This was a typical Royal Rumble-style match. The end played with people's emotions as we thought Effy won but then Mance Warner came out and gave Effy the title shot and took it for himself.

Mance Warner wins the Do or Die Rumble
2.25/5

Jun Kasai v. Nick Gage

This was great and there is no other way I would have rung in the New Year than seeing this match. Both men went hard as fuck. We got glass, tubes, blood, skewers, and a Dream Match. What a way to start 2024

Jun Kasai wins via pinfall
5/5

JCW:Battle Bowl 2023

Jay Lyon and Donnie  Primetime v. Tarzan Duran and J Boujii

This was an okay match. The story of this was Jay Lyon not being able to coexist with Donnie Primetime. Also great to see Tarzan.

Jay Lyon and Donnie Primetime win via pinfall
1.75/5

Austin Luke and Mr. Danger v. Bobby Flacco and Rico Gonzalez

This was a good athletic contest. Great to see Austin Luke on a bigger stage and Mr. Danger is amazing.

Mr. Danger and Austin Luke win via pinfall

This was a good wrestling match and I liked the continuation of the Young Dumb n Broke Storyline.

Ellis Taylor and Griffin McCoy win via pinfall
2.25/5

Manders and Bam Sullivan v. Jordan Cruz and Sawyer Wreck

This was a fun match and I liked the story of if Manders won he sleeps on the couch. Also, this Jordan Cruz was impressive.

Manders and Bam Sullivan win via pinfall
2.75/5

Isiah Broner and Josh Bishop v. Joseline Navarro and Big Vin

This match was good. It was a hoss fight featuring Joseline Navarro who impressed me. Plus getting to see Big Vin is always a treat.

Isiah Broner and Josh Bishop win via pinfall
2.5/5

Cole Radrick and Tara Zep v. Emersyn Jayne and Daiju Wakamatsu

This match was fucking great. All the people in this match are studs plus I got to see Tara Zep live. Sucks Wakamatsu wasn't there the first night due to travel issues he was very impressive here. The only downside of this match was Cole Radrick getting his arm sliced and his thumb sprained during the barbed wire spot.

Daiju Wakamatsu and Emersyn Jayne win via pinfall
3/5

Brayden Toon and Jimmy Lloyd v. Hunter Drake and Dylan McKay

This match was good but the best part of it for me was the Jimmy Lloyd broski gimmick.

Brayden Toon and Jimmy Lloyd win via pinfall
2.25/5

Beastman and Big Kurt V. Sleepy Ed and Shane Mercer

This match was decent. Shane Mercer and Beastman got their hoss fight spots in and Sleepy Ed was entertaining with his sleep gimmick.

Sleepy Ed and Shane Mercer win via pinfall
2/5

Battle Bowl

This was your typical Battle Royal but Griffin winning and continuing the story with the demise of YDNB was great.

Griffin Mc Coy wins Battle Bowl
2/5

GCW: Nick Gage Invitational 8

Masha Slamovich v. Emersyn Jayne v. Risa Sera

This was a great match. How else do you start an NGI with a tube contraption above the ring? All three ladies killed each other with tubes and bled like crazy. What a great way to start the NGI.

Masha Slamovich advances via pinfall

Jimmy Lloyd v. Jacob Fatu v. John Wayne Murdoch

This was a great match. Jimmy Lloyd's broski gimmick is great and JWM is one of the best Death Match Wrestlers in America right now. The Wild Card was Jacob Fatu and his style translated well to the Death Match world and I hope to see more of him in that realm.

Shane Mercer v. Miedo Extremo

This was a good match. Shane Mercer was a fill-in for a travel delayed Daisuke Watsumatsu. The Iron Demon got his power spots in and put Miedo through a Carpet strip contraption.

Ciclope v. Violento Jack

This was a really good match and this had an interesting story with Jack turning on Macizos during the Freedoms feud. These two made each other bleed and Violento Jack tried to break Ciclope's arm.

Masha Slamovich v. John Wayne Murdoch

This was a very good and violent match. A lot of tubes were used and Masha looked great but it was just not enough.

This was a great continuation of the feud in the first round and a very violent match

Speedball Mike Bailey v. Jordan Oliver v. Gringo Locov. Mr. Danger v.Cole Radrick v. Joey Janela

Usually, I'm against scrambles but this was a good way to showcase the talent GCW has.

John Wayne Murdoch v. Miedo Extremo

What a great way to end the NGI. This was short but sweet. We got the glass ceiling spot where JWM through Miedo off a scaffold through a pane of glass where Miedo proceeded to fall through doors and glass below. And somehow Miedo came back and won. Fuck Yeah!
