IWS v. GCW:Scarred 4 Life 2024

Nathan Yarmawick, Melanie Havok Leah Sparx and v. Elevation and Dasie Leon

This was a good introduction to the IWS Talent. Even though it was kept short I'm glad it wasn't overkill either like scrambles can be.

Katrina Crees defended the IWS Women's Championship against Kristara and Masha Slamovich

This was the Masha Slamovich show. She elevated the ladies she was in the ring with and deserved to win

Sexxxy Eddy v. Bob Anger v. Big Ben Ortmanns v. Alex Maze v. Tara Zep v. Dante Dubois

Instead of burying the match for being a scramble, especially since this one wasn't bad ill just say what stood out to me. Sexxy Eddy is still amazing and his in-ring comedy is brilliant. Tara Zep is someone I'm very high on. Not only is she a beast in Death Matches she worked the ropes great in this match doing cool lucha moves and the Curb Stomp into the splits was insanely athletic and popped the fuck out of me. Big Ben Ortmanns looked good in this too but I need to see more of his stuff.

Dante Dubois won via pinfall

2.5/5

Jimmy Lloyd and Charlie Tiger v. Casanova Productions

This was a pretty standard tag match. Casanova Productions look like they have potential and I wouldn't mind seeing more of them.

Casanova Productions won via pinfall

2/5

Carl Jepsen defended the IWS Championship against Gringo Loco

This was a cool match with Gringo Loco doing his Lucha stuff and Carl Jepsen, a man who flies around the ring and shouldn't be able to.

Carl Jepsen won via pinfall

2.25/5

Benjamin Tull v. James Stone v. Junior Benito v. Gabe Kidd

This was a solid fight. You had 3 of the 4 men who were hosses and a smaller man in Junior Benito doing cool high-flying stuff. Great action here.

Gabe Kidd won via pinfall

3/5

Bussy v. TDT

This started slow but once it picked up it was good. These TDT boys are hard-hitting and are beasts. Montreal is lucky to have a team like TDT.

TDT won via pinfall

2.5/5

Mance Warner defended the GCW Championship against Green Phantom

Mance Warner came out and demanded a ten-minute time Limit. The match had a lot of cool stuff though, a Green Phantom table and a weedwhacker to be exact, but it was short and had a no-contest. What could have been?

No Contest

2/5

Joey Janela v. PCP Manny

This was pretty crazy. We had actual doors, spots into tacks and the spot where Joey jumped off of the truck with the lit cigarette was amazing. The IWS v. GCW story was great and this match was an awesome way to end it.

PCP Manny won via pinfall

3/5

Overall

The main event was great and the 4 way was great as well but the rest of the card was just there. This was still a decent show but had the potential to be great. Will be diving more into IWS in the future though.

6.5/10
