Leonardo Darwin defended the Rise Underground Championship against Big Fn Joe

Leonardo put up the title in an open challenge and Big Fn Joe answered. Big Joe did the breaking of 10 tubes in the corner. These guys broke a lot of tubes and mixed in some chain wrestling. Both men showed that they could go in the ring as well as do Death Match so I enjoyed this.

BA Rose v. Danny Demanto 

We started with BA Rose getting busted open well with a tube shot. BA Rose got put through an Ironing board. The stomp Danny Demanto gave BA Rose through Tubes, Barbed Wire and a door was outstanding. This match was great. I'm glad Danny is well-rested and has his heart back in the game and after this, I expect to see more of BA Rose in the U.S.

Cassanova Valentine v. Lou Nixon 

Cassanova Valentine put Lou Nixon through a barbed wire board that said Kill Lou Nixon. Lou Nixon busted out the Thumbtack Kickpad and kicked the shit out of Cassanova Valentine.  I like both wrestlers but to be honest, this was very sloppy and I wasn't too into this.

Trent Seven v. Brett Semtex 

We had a straight wrestling match.  This was okay.  Trent Seven was good but Brett Semtex didn't do anything for me.

Iceman v. Jack Harrop in a No Rope Barbed Wire Match 

We have a cool father-versus-son match here. Iceman going through the Barbed Wire board was great. Iceman doing the Cannonball onto Jack Harrop and the tube bundle was a great and dangerous spot, if that barbed wire Rope had given that could have been bad. These two had a hard tube exchange.  This was a great hitting match where two of the best Death Match Wrestlers to come out of the UK showed up and showed out for the American fans.

Overall

This was a good show for Rise to debut in the U.S. They showed us what the UK has to offer but I could have used more matches on the card. I hope Rise comes back.
