Rise Underground: Live in Sheffield 2025

Lou Nixon defended the European Death Match Championship against Joe Wade

These two exchanged some brutal kicks. These two then exchanged tube shots. After a GTS, tube shot, and a choke, Lou Nixon won. This was a great match, and Joe Wade showed me something here, and I hope to see more of Joe Wade.

Lou Nixon retained via submission

3.25/5

Risen v. Danny Demanto and the Pillars

This was an interpromotional match. This was a hard one to keep track of but Danny Demanto used a Thumbtack crucifix on Franco Fate. While this match was cool most of it was sensory overload. The finish with the chair with tubes was cool, but too much was happening.

Danny Demanto and the Pillars won via pinfall

2.5/5

Otis Cogar v. Iceman

After a vicious hoss fight, Otis used his straight razor on Iceman. Otis finished off Iceman with a moonsault. This was okay I just didn't expect Iceman to barely get any offense.

Otis Cogar won via pinfall

2/5

Big Fn Joe and Leonardo Darwin v. Millie McKenzie and Brett Sentex

Brett Semtex started right off by Hitting Joe with a tube. The only other Death Match spot was Brett Semtex hitting Joe with an exploding bat; otherwise,, this was a nice, standard wrestling match.

Big Fn Joe and Leonardo Darwin won via pinfall

2.5/5

Daniel v. Michael Caden in a Crucifixion Match

The way you win this match is to crucify your opponent, so this wasn't for the weak at heart. Michael Caden started off assaulting Daniel with tubes and a staple gun. Caden put Daniel through a tube pentagram. Then Daniel's crew tied Michael Caden to a cross. This was a good beat down from Caden, but this will be interesting to see how the story plays out, and Caden gets his revenge.

Daniel won

2.25/5

Danny Darko v. Tim Strange

This was a match to determine the Number One Contender for the European Death Match Championship in Las Vegas. Darko used a Kendo stick and water jug on Tim Strange to start off. After being hit in the chest with a tube, Danny Darko hit Tim Strange in the nuts with a tube, then Darko raked Strange across the head with a cheese grater. Then, to make matters worse,, Darkopoureded lemon juice into Strange's wounds. Darko gave Strange a frog splash onto a pile of fuckery. Tim Strage finished it off with a lariat. This match was great.

Tim Strange won via pinfall

3/5

BA Rose v. Boy #1

After some good high-flying, Boy's momentum was cut off with a light tube shot from BA Rose. Boy wrapped himself in barbed wire and did a frog splash onto Rose. BA Rose put Boy through a pane of glass and barbed wire to get the win. For this being Boy's first Death Match, Boy did good, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for him. Good match.

BA Rose won via pinfall

2.75/5

Atticus Cogar v. Drew Parker

Drew Parker came out to the ring bleeding. These two put each other through doors with tubes on them. Parker through darts into Cogar's back. These two played all their hits and Atticus got his Skewer spot in and the brain hemorrhage to get the win. Yeah, this was both men doing their signature match, but honestly, there's nothing wrong with that. You had 2 high-caliber Death Match wrestlers doing what they do, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Atticus Cogar won via pinfall

3/5

Overall

This was a good show. This was what I wanted in UK Death Match, and with ICW being in the area, this made for a solid card.

6/10
