CZW: 27th Anniversary

Nicco Grey v. Handyman Jake Grey

We had a home improvement Death Match to start things off. This match did have some cool stuff. Handyman Jake used a metal grinder to make sparks that landed on Nicco Grey. Nicco Grey using sand paper in Handyman Jake's mouth was cool too. This was a decent open.

Nicco Grey won via pinfall

Angel Metro v. Mickie Knuckles

This was a great match. These two went hard as fuck and put eachother through a lot of objects. Barbed wire doors, carpet strips you name it. Mickie is a legend and I think Angel Metro might be the best at selling in Death Match wrestling right now.

Mickie Knuckles won via pinfall

3.5/5

Jameson Shook v. Eric Dillinger

Next up after a Danny Havoc tribute was a decent hybrid match. This had a lot of high flying and had some decent tube and ladder spots.

Eric Dillinger won via pinfall

2.75/5

Jimmy Controversy v. Nick Gage

Even though Jimmy Controversy didn't get much offense in this match was very good. Nick Gage pulled out all the stops and he looks like he's feeling better which is the part I'm most excited about.

Nick Gage won via pinfall

3/5

Dred v. Rickey Shane Page

While this match was enjoyable the pacing of it was slow. Dred took it to RSP and wore him out with tubes but I wanted to see more of Rickey Shane Page and he didn't have much offense i feel like. The ending was cool with RSP getting pushed off the apron through the fuckery waiting below though.

Dred won

2.75/5

Lucky 13 v. Eric Ryan v. Hoodfoot v. Jimmy Lloyd v. Shlak v. Nick Gage for the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship

Our main event was an elimination match to determine the Ultraviolent Underground Champion. These types of matches are chaotic so it's hard to keep track of and the beginning of this match moved so fast that it was hard to keep track of who got eliminated. Shlak ended up winning by eliminating Hoodfoot. Once this made sense this became an awesome match and I think Shlak was the right choice to win.

Shlak won via pinfall

3/5

Overall

I think CZW is back on the come-up and this show proved that the rebranding is working. This was a solid show for them which they needed and they need to keep it up because a lot of companies are going by the wayside and with this show it gave me hope. Match of the Night was Mickie/Angel and this is worth checking out.

7.8/10

GCW: So Much Fun 2026

Marcus Mathers v. Ryan O'Neill We had a wrestling match to open the show. It was okay. There was nothing wrong with it but it just did...
