GCW:Fight Club 2024 Night 2

Richard Holliday v. Mr. Danger

This is a clash of styles, with Richard Holliday being a TV-style wrestler and Mr. Danger being a High Flyer. Mr. Danger dived off the balcony, which was nice; he also landed on a tile floor, which looked painful. Other than the good High flying that Mr. Danger did this match didn't do it for me.

Cole Radrick v. Matt Cardona

This was an impromptu match. This was a quick match with Matt Cardona bailing or a lot but I am happy with the Cole Radrick win.

Rina Yamashita v. Blake Christian

It was interesting to see Rina Yamashita out of her element in a non-Death match, but she can go. Yeah, there were a few door and chair spots, but this was more of a well-wrestled match. This was pretty good.

Masha Slamovich and Megan Bayne v. Griffin McCoy and Kerry Morton

This was supposed to be Masha Slamovich against Griffin McCoy, but Kerry Morton got involved, and Masha wanted this to be a 2-1 handicap match. Then Megan Bayne made her surprise return, and it became a handicap match. I liked the Masha/Megan team, but since Kerry Morton was in this and they kept adding people throughout the match, the match wasn't good.

1.75/5

John Wayne Murdoch v. Lou Nixon

We finally had a Death Match. Lou Nixon drove John Wayne Murdoch face-first into a pane of glass. John Wayne Murdoch used a gusset plate tennis racket. This was a good Death Match with two very solid wrestlers in it.

John Wayne Murdoch won via pinfall

2.75/5

Ciclope v. Matt Tremont

We had another Death Match. Matt Tremont used Abdullah the Butcher's fork. These two exchanged splashes onto tubes. The ciclope finish with the back fist through the tubes was good. I enjoyed this match and Ciclope is gonna be a major player as a single wrestler.

Ciclope won via pinfall

3/5

Overall

This was another just-okay show. The vibe was better from the previous night in that new room, and the last 2 matches were really good, and so was the Rina/Blake match, but the rest was forgettable.

6/10
