ICW NHB 65

MM3 v. Gabriel Skye

After the announcement that ICW was going to Japan, this is how we started the show. This was just more of an Athletic wrestling match with some cool spots like Gabriel Skye giving MM3 a package piledriver onto some chairs. And Gabriel Skye being suplex into a door with barbed wire. I enjoyed this match and it was a nice way to start the show.

Jimmy Lloyd v. Kody Manhorn

This was supposed to be Jimmy Lloyd v. Bobby Beverly but the card got switched around. I like that Jimmy Lloyd is continuing his Broski gimmick in other promotions. Kody Manhorn took a vicious package piledriver onto a stack of chairs. This was honestly a really fun match and both gimmicks worked well with each other.

3/5

Tommy Vendetta v. Little Mean Kathleen

I wish Little Mean Kathleen would lay in her shots with weapons more. Those shots looked too light. Honestly, that took me out of the match. I thought this wasn't very good.

Dr. Redacted v. Bobby Beverly

Dr. Redacted was supposed to take on Alex Stretch, but Stretch couldn't make it due to injury, so Bobby Beverly was his replacement. We had gusset plates used. Bobby Beverly hit Dr. Redacted with a Nerf Gun. Redacted took a nasty-looking Saito Suplex through a chair, then took a bump through an Ironing Board. This was a great match and what I would expect from these two.

Bobby Beverly won via pinfall

3/5

Otis Cogar v. Hoodfoot

We had a battle of the behemoths here. Otis got his signature straight razor spot in. Hoodfoot was squirting blood out of his head. The IWTV stream cut out for a minute. These two exchanged Thumbtack Bat shots. Hoodfoot ended the match by giving Otis Cogar a Ghostbuster through a pane of glass. This was everything it should have been and it was a great and bloody match.

Hoodfoot won via pinfall

3.5/5

Atticus Cogar defended the American Death Match Championship against Homicide

This was supposed to be Homicide's final New England appearance. This was a solid hardcore match and then Otis Cogar interfered. Danny Demanto came and made the save for Homicide. Bobby Beverly then came out and interfered. Even though the 44OH holding ICW hostage storyline is cool, this match was so-so. I do want to see where this goes from here though.

Atticus Cogar retained via pinfall

2.5/5

Overall

For this show, having barely any glass, this was good. We got 3 solid matches and a good storyline that was furthered with the 44OH v. ICW thing.

6.5/10
