Canadian Death Match: Crazy Eight 2025

Hardcore v. Jessie Mack in a First-Round Match

Jessie Mack broke a tube bundle over Hardcore-s head. Hardcore broke a tube bat over Jessie Mack. These two suplexed each other onto broken glass. After not getting it the first time Jessie Mack suplexed Hardcore through a shower door. After Jessie Mack missed a Cannonball through a shower door, Hardcore snuck then won it with a roll-up. Hardcore was great here and showed toughness by taking tube shots and barely bleeding; Jessie Mack, however, has potential but a long way to go. This match could have been better.

Hardcore advanced via pinfall

1.5/5

PD Skillz v. That Kyle in a Guns and Gussets First-Round Match

That Kyle busted open PD Skillz with a Thumbtack Bat. These two had a staple gun exchange Kyle used a cowbell with a gusset plate on it on PD Skillz. PD Skillz used a paint roller with a gusset on it on Kyle. And PD Skillz finished the match by choking out That Kyle with a Bag. This was a very good match and just furthers the question of why he isn't That Kyle on more shows.

PD Skillz advanced via submission

3.5/5

Wade Allan v. Rush Rancid in a Four Corners of Pain First-Round Match

Rush Rancid raked a strand of Barbed Wire on Wade Allan's head. Wade Allan put Rush Rancid through a barbed wire board. Wade Allan got the win with a senton while he wrapped himself in barbed wire. The match was okay but too slow-paced for my liking.

Wade Allan advanced via pinfall

2/5

Tyler Hill v. Tyler Aero in a House of 1000 Tacks First-Round Match

Aero uses Thumbtack hockey gloves on Hill. Hill uses a Thumbtack ping pong paddle on Aero. Aero suplexed Hill onto a pile of tacks. The 2 Tyler's had a Thumbtack Bat exchange. Hill put Thumbtacks in the mouth of Aero, duct taped Aero's mouth shut, and gave him a Curb Stomp. Aero gave Hill a Swanton through a door. And Tyler Aero pulled off the victory. This was a good match that put both of these guys on my radar.

Tyler Aero won via pinfall

3/5

Judge Joe Dred v. Matt Cash in a Light Tube Prison Match

Judge Joe Dred started the match by Smashing Cash with a tube bundle and then throwing Cash through the ropes with tubes hanging. Matt Cash hit a urinage through a tube bundle on Dred. Judge Joe Dred used the end of a tube and put it in Matt Cash's mouth. Judge Joe Dred used the gavel to smash a tube over Matt Cash's head. Matt Cash attacked Dred with tubes. Matt Cash hit a Cannonball on Judge Joe Dred. These two had a tube battle. Dred gave Cash a faceplant through a tube cabin. Matt Cash was kicked out, but Judge Joe Dred was able to finish off Matt Cash with a brainbuster onto the broken glass. This was a great match. I think the world of Judge Joe Dred and Matt Cash is now on my radar.

Judge Joe Dred won via pinfall

4.25/5

Green Phantom v. Jesse Amato

Jesse Amato used a cheese grater on Green Phantom's arm. Green Phantom returned the favor with the cheese grater. It took him 2 times but Green Phantom used a light tube skateboard on Amato. Green Phantom hit the Phantom menace for the win. This match was okay but it was slow.

Green Phantom won via pinfall

2/5

Project 8100 v. Empire v. Charles Dynasty

We had a triple threat tag match next. This was just a spot fest as you'd expect. It didn't really stand out to me.

Charles Dynasty won via pinfall

1.5/5

Hardcore v. PD Skillz v. Wade Allan v. Tyler Aero in the Finals for the Canadian Death Match Championship

This was under elimination rules. Wade Allan hit PD Skillz with a tube bundle. Hardcore wire out Tyler Aero with a tube bundle. Tyler Aero and PD Skillz put Wade Allan through a glass table to eliminate him. Tyler Aero gave Hardcore a Falcon Arrow through a tube bundle. Hardcore pinned Tyler Aero to eliminate him. PD Skillz put Hardcore in the sharpshooter, and as Hardcore went to Will Carrol and Kyle for help, they turned on Hardcore and gave him the title. This was a good match and a great story to finish the show with. I'm down for a Hardcore/That Kyle match. That's a main event anywhere.

PD Skillz won the Crazy Eight and the Canadian Death Match Championship via submission

3.25/5

Overall

This was a good tournament.  I got to see what Canada had to offer; some stuff was good, and some stuff wasn't, but Hardcore was made here, and Dred/Cash was a banger.

6/10
