H2O: Control 2025

Leroy Robinson defended the Hybrid Championship against Franky Hendrix, Brian Neil and Damon Stryker

We had a 4 way to start the show. This was a decent wrestling match and Damon Stryker impressed me.

President Hawkins v. Lady Blakely in a Last Person Standing Match

Lady Blakely came out at the beginning of the match and asked for this stipulation. These two exchanged chair shots. They had a chair shot exchange. I just wish the chair shots were laid in more. President Hawkins suplexed Lady Blakely on a pile of chairs and a door but Lady Blakely rolled off of the ring to beat the 10 count. This match was decent. It was a good way to blow off the feud, I thought.

Lady Blakely was the Last Person Standing

Kasey Owens defended the TWE Gig City Championship Cecilio Vega

In this match, if the match reaches the time limit, Kasey Owens loses the Gig City Championship. This match was too short and didn't have much to it.

Kasey Owens retained via pinfall

Kody Manhorn and Kennedi Hardcastle v. Snack Pack (Jess Moss and JB Anderson)

The two teams started with a chicken fight while Jess Moss and Kennedy Hardcastle were on top with boxing gloves on. JB Anderson threw a Chair at Kody Manhorn. Snack Pack got thrown into a bed of Legos. Legos. Kody Manhorn stabbed JB Anderson with an ice skate. Hardcastle and Manhorn used to put Snack Pack in the rings while using an ice skate. Snack Pack hit a double heart attack on Hardcastle for the win. This was a so-so match, but I had fun watching it.

Snack Pack won via pinfall

Eeron Wade defended the TWE Championship against GG Everson

This was a so-so match, but the big takeaway from this match was Frankie Hendrix pulling out Jimmy Deacon to cost GG Everson the championship.

Eeron Wade retained via pinfall

The Goons v. Peace Love and Death Match (Alex Stretch and Anthraxx) in a Tag Team Taipei Death Match

Other than hitting each other with broken glass taped to their fists, the Goons made use of a trash can lid on Anthraxx. Alex Stretch used a gusset plate on Lizzy Blair. This was a cool brawl-style match until the finish, where the table with Peyton Blair on it wouldn't break, and the referee still counted the pin. The finish was very confusing.

Peace Love and Death Match won via pinfall

2.25/5

Matt Tremont defended the DMDU Death Match Championship against Braxx

These two jammed gusset plates into each other then Braxx attacked Tremont with a paddle with tacks in it and, on top of all that, squeezed lemon juice into the cuts. Tremont got Braxx back with the paddle and lemon juice, then Tremont upped the ante with a barbed wire board. These two had a Thumbtack Bat exchange. Braxx poured salt on Tremont's bleeding head. Tremont finished the match with a shot from a light bulb bat and an F5 onto a pile of fuckery. This was a great match and Braxx is really finding himself.

Matt Tremont retained via pinfall

3.5/5

Homicide and Low Life Louie Ramos v. Deklan Grant and Austin Luke in an Anything Goes Match

This was Homicide's last match at the H20 Center. Homicide threw a Chair at Austin Luke. Austin Luke jammed a fork into Low Life Louie's head.  Homicide hit the Cop Killer and finished it off. This was a chaotic brawl, but I liked that Homicide got to shine on his way out.

Homicide and Low Life Louie won via pinfall

2.75/5

Overall

The show, other than the last 3 matches, didn't really stand out to me. I didn't love it, didn't hate it. They let Homicide go out like the king he is so I'm into that.

5/10
