Zandig came out to start the show and bring the trophy to the ring.
John Wayne Murdoch v. Mr. Danger House of Horrors First-Round Match
This was how you start a tournament! House of Horrors Death Match was the rubber match in the series Murdoch and Danger were having that was tied 1-1. Murdoch, being the veteran he is, made sure not to take it easy on the Death Match Tournament rookie and destroyed him with tubes. Mr. Danger, though, impressed the fuck out of me. This guy was diving off the House of Horrors structure, including climbing up this seemingly 20-foot Scaffold and diving off it onto Murdoch. Danger also has a lot of good high-flying offense. This was amazing.

Dr. Redacted v. Beastman v. Otis Cogar
During the entrances Beastman had a shock master moment when he tripped over a chair he knocked down. While I did enjoy this match it was mainly for the stuff Otis and Redacted did. Beastman was very sloppy here. I don't know what happened if he just had a bad night or what, but this wasn't the Beastman I saw in January at the Big Japan tournament. Also, I'm not saying Redacted should have won, but this was the wrong move having him be the one to be eliminated here.
Otis Cogar advanced via pinfall

Daiju Wakamatsu v. Bobby Beverly in a First-Round Match
I haven't seen much of Daiju Wakamatsu, but from the few matches I had seen, I was looking forward to seeing him here. He didn't disappoint. He did some great tube spots, and I love his elbow finish. Bobby Beverly showed here why he is one of the best in the country and took and gave some insane tube shots here as well. We finally had some tube fans used here, which I liked, and this match had great psychology to it as well. This match was incredible and you need to see it.
Bobby Beverly won via pinfall

Matt Tremont defended the Ultraviolent Championship against Jimmy Lloyd and Shotzi Blackheart in a First-Round Match
So a lot is going on here to break down. Matt Tremont's Ultraviolent Championship will be defended throughout the tournament, and there was set to be a surprise entrance but we got 2. GCW Legend Jimmy Lloyd and fresh out of WWE Shotzi Blackheart. Shotzi was the story of this match. I love how reckless her dives are, and she took the glass and barbed wire her 2nd match back into the Indies; amazing. Tremont is a modern-day legend, and Jimmy Lloyd is underrated. Enough said. Another great match.
Matt Tremont retained and advanced via pinfall

Richard Holliday addressed the crowd and was booed out of the building.
Otis Cogar v. John Wayne Murdoch in a Second-Round Match
Otis was great here with the ring psychology. John Wayne Murdoch suffered a bad cut to the side in the First, and Otis was working that over, including using the straight razor to open the cut more. John Wayne Murdoch, even though he was badly hurt still had an outstanding performance as well. The match itself was a bit slow, but it told a good story.
Otis Cogar advanced via pinfall

Matt Tremont defended the Ultraviolent Championship against Bobby Beverly
This was a blood bath. There was a gusset spot, and of course, both men were gushing blood. Matt Tremont actually squirted blood from his forehead. Bobby Beverly got to show off how hard he can swing tubes and throw chairs and Tremont protected Bobby Beverly's fisherman's buster finish. This was a solid match.
Matt Tremont retained and advanced via pinfall

Jeff Cannonball came out to bring the trophy to the Ringside for the winner. Blake Christian interrupted Jeff Cannonball's speech but Tony Deppen made the save.
Matt Tremont defended the Ultraviolent Championship against Otis Cogar in the Finals of Tournament of Survival 10
They covered the canvas in Cinderblocks and put light tubes around the ropes for the finals. During Tremont's entrance, he came out to Hungry Like The Wolf to pay tribute to Danny Havoc. I was expecting a battle of the behemoths here and I got it. There were a few cool spots with the cinderblocks and a lot of nice tube shots. At one point, Vandal 48 came out to help Otis to win, but that was in vain as Joey Janela made the save for Tremont. The last 2 slams on the pile of cinderblocks were brutal as well. This was a very good way to end the Tournament and the right person won
Matt Tremont retained and won Tournament of Survival 10 via pinfall

Overall
This was a solid tournament, and one of the better GCW shows in a while. The right person won in Tremont, and there wasn't a lot to complain about on this show other than the first 3 ways (see review above).
8/10
