GCW:Cage of Survival 4

Slade v. Bear Bronson

This was Bear Bronson's first ever Death Match and what a first impression! His back looked disgusting from going through 2 Tokyo Towers, and these two men took an insane spot from a forklift through doors with a tube bundle on top of it waiting below. Slade was a monster here and that's what this match needed. This was great.

Charles Mason v. Jamie Lynn Senegal

This, like most Charles Mason matches, was boring. Jamie Lynn Sennegel was okay but it didn't get into this match.

Jeffrey John, Jay Lucas and Terry Yaki v. Charlie Tiger, Jordan Oliver and Alec Price

We just had a spot fest here to get some wrestlers on the show. It was good but nothing too crazy.

Masha Slamovich defended the JCW Championship against KJ Orso

Masha is one of the best strikers going now and looked great here. I also liked the KJ Orso heel character. The match was an indie wrestling match but a good one.

Masha Slamovich retained via pinfall

3/5

Dr. Redacted and Daiju Wakamatsu v. Lil Sicko and Mr. Danger

On paper, I was looking forward to this match, and it did not disappoint. Redacted came back to this match after being eliminated with a vengeance and tore it up. Wakamatsu is so strategic with his tube spots and that got me pumped up. Lil Sicko showed out here and did some really cool high-flying spots like jumping off of a tall ass ladder onto Dr. Redacted, who had a tube bundle on top of him. And Mr. Danger impressed me again mixing high flying and Death Match as well as greats Sick Nick Mondo and JC Bailey. This was a chaotic and beautiful tag.

Dr. Redacted and Daiju Wakamatsu won via pinfall

Atticus Cogar v. Joey Janela in a Dog Collar Match

To be fair I'm not into dog collar matches. I think they're usually slow and Boring and this was no exception. The end was cool with Vandal 48 crucifying Joey Janela but it was too little too late by then. If they're gonna do a blood feud do it.

Atticus Cogar won via pinfall

2.5/5

Team JCW (2 Tuff Tony, Mickie Knuckles, and Brothers of Funstruction) v. Team GCW (Effy, Matt Tremont, John Wayne Murdoch, and Jimmy Lloyd)

This will be a short review because I can't even describe what I saw. I don't know what the hell I just watched but I loved it

No Contest

4/5

Miedo Extremo v. Ciclope in Cage of Survival 4

These two came into this wanting to destroy each other, and they accomplished this. Miedo gave Ciclope a suplex onto the side of the cage lying down with tubes on it, and Ciclope was moving funny after, so I hope all was good there. Other than that, we had tubes galore, hard-hitting wrestling, and the spot off the Scaffold where Miedo gave Ciclope a Death Valley driver off of that into the ring through a few layers of doors was great. This was an awesome way to end the feud.

Miedo Extremo won via pinfall

4.5/5

Overall

Other than the Dog Collar Match the main attractions were solid. We got a beautiful tag in Redacted/Wakamatsu and Danger/Sicko and the JCW/GCW Brawl was fun. The rest was filler but to be expected. This was a solid show.

7/10
