X-Brand: Jawnstown Massacre 2025

This was a no-ring show which, if they run Philly, I back more than the boxing ring, to be honest.

Jimmy Controversy v. Hellaware Assassin

This match was decent. It had a lot of tubes, Hellaware Assassin bled a lot and Jimmy Controversy got good heat with the crowd. Good opener.

Jimmy Controversy won via pinfall

2.5/5

After the match, Hellaware Assassin threatened Veronica Cane with a tazer; that wasn't cool.

Nicco Grey v. Jimmy Chondo Lyon

This was a march to qualify for Unlucky 13. The hammer in the mouth spot Chondo gave to Nicco Grey was cool. Other than that, this match was a throwaway for me. Since Jimmy Chondo Lyon won he advanced to Unlucky 13.

Jimmy Chondo Lyon won via pinfall

1.5/5

There was a 3-way pillow fight

Sinister Minister v. JC Extreme

I like the creativity with the weapons, i.e., the tube sphere, and the board with tacks. And I liked JC Extreme and think that kid has Something. However, the match was short and ended suddenly after Sinister Minister suplexed JC Extreme through the door with tacks I was talking about. I wish this wouldn't have suddenly ended, but other than that, this wasn't bad.

Sinister Minister won via pinfall

2/5

Jeff Shock v. Hardcore

This was another Unlucky 13 qualifying match. Both men went hard in this one. I like how Jeff Shock worked over Hardcore's injured leg. In the match, Jeff Shock got a nasty cut on his elbow to where you can see gore coming out of his arm. And Hardcore finishing this off with some legit wrestling moves was the icing on the cake. This was some good stuff and I get my wish of seeing Hardcore in a Tournament.

Hardcore won via submission

3.25/5

Jesse Daniels v. Willy Tiny

Jesse Daniels was a good heel, but other than that, this match wasn't for me. It was slow, and other than a few tube spots, it didn't really offer me anything.

Jesse Daniels won via pinfall

2/5

Tobi Mara v. Kevin Khaos

There was some wild stuff in this one. Tubes, Razor Boards outside brawling and Tobi Mara getting lit on fire. I was entertained and the match wasn't bad. I'd say run this back at a ring show.

Kevin Khaos won via referee stoppage

2.75/5

Overall

I'm not super big on no-ring shows, and there was only a handful of talent I was familiar with on this show, but this wasn't terrible.

5/10
