Veronica Cane came out and introduced the participants in the Tournament. Nick Gage addressed the crowd. Then Veronica Cane introduced Creepy Pinky.
Angel Metro v. Tarzan Duran in a First-Round Match
This was how we kicked off the wicked thirteen. They did a lot of chain wrestling, which I wasn't particularly into. The brawl in the crowd was fun with Tarzan and Angel Metro slamming people from the crowd onto each other. I also liked Angel Metro throwing Tarzan into a tree and Eden trying to get involved and eating a tube courtesy of Angel Metro. However, this match dragged on and never picked up momentum.

Jimmy Controversy v. Jimmy Lloyd v. Hardcore in a First-Round Match
Shout out to Hardcore for wrestling against Jimmy's injury. The only problem was that Veronica Cane came out and told Hardcore he couldn't compete. The match itself was good. A lot of athletic wrestling with tube spots.

Kevin Khaos v. Mickie Knuckles in a First-Round Match
Even though this was essentially a squash match, because Mickie Knuckles is so good, I enjoyed it. She just beat the shit out of this dude with tubes, antlers, and anything that wasn't nailed down.

Bam Sullivan v. Nick Gage in a First-Round Match
This was a fun match to watch. They had a nice brawl around the ring. Other than that, Gage broke tubes over Bam, and Gage put Bam through a board with tubes on it.

Chondo v. Bobby Beverly in a First-Round Match
The storytelling here was great. The match revolved around Chondo not wearing shoes in a Death Match Tournament because that makes total sense. Bobby Beverly worked on Chondo's feet with the tubes. Simple yet compelling. Good stuff.

Anthraxx v. Eric Ryan in a First-Round Match
This was our final First-Round Match. This might be Eric Ryan's best match since he's been back. Eric Ryan's matches are usually short and sweet and this was no exception. This was a pretty even and hard-hitting match with creative tube spots.

Mickie Knuckles v. Nick Gage in a Second-Round Match
This was a great way to start the second round. Nick Gage was dialed in here and spent most of the match destroying Mickie Knuckles. Mickie did get some return offense by biting Gage in the nether regions and doing a nice suplex into a pile of fuckery. Mickie even got the roll-up win. This match was fucking great. Both wrestlers were on top of their game, the crowd was into it and it had a good story.

Bobby Beverly v. Angel Metro in a Second-Round Match
I know I sound like a broken record every time I review a Bobby Beverly match, but what can I say? Dudes one of the best. But Angel Metro held her own here. The majority of the match was Bev wearing out Metro with light tubes, but I liked the comeback Angel made, and she looked like a badass. The match itself was a bit short but we got a star made.

After the match, Veronica Cane made Angel Metro the inaugural She's Hardcore Champion, which I'm all for, a women's death match Championship.
Jimmy Lloyd v. Eric Ryan in a Second-Round Match
This was our last Second-Round Match. This was a solid and short match to go out on. In this short time, this had some very intense light tube spots, and they engaged the crowd well. I coulda used more though.

Roman 5-0 defended the XBRAND Championship against Nico Grey, Jeff Shock, and Jesse Daniels
This was a pretty good and chaotic 4-way. It was a bit much to comprehend at once, but it worked.

Bobby Beverly v. Mickie Knuckles v. Eric Ryan in the Wicked 13 Finals
This was the finals and this was a great way to end the show. Plenty of light tube spots from Bobby Beverly and Eric Ryan. Mickie Knuckles, I feel, was the right person to win, and she's on a warpath this year.

Overall
For this being the first one of these tournaments this was a solid one. X-Brand is doing a great job of picking up where H2O left off on the NJ death match scene. The right person won, and as the tournament progressed, each match got more compelling. Some matches I could have used more of, but that's commonplace in a Tournament.
6/10
