GCW: Nick Gage Imvitational X

Bear Bronson v. Slade in a First-Round Match

These men started with a brutal chair exchange. Slade broke tubes over Bear Bronson's back and then proceeded to jam a gusset plate into Bronson's head. Bear Bronson got Slade with some tube bundles. After a slap fest, these two slammed each other's heads on cinder blocks. Bear Bronson finished off Slade with a power bomb onto a shopping cart that had tubes laid across it.

This match was good just not nearly as good as their classic at Cage of Survival.

Drew Parker v. Jack Harrop in a First-Round Match

We had a battle of the UK to move along in the First Round, as it was a Taipei Death Match.

Jack Harrop threw a Tokyo Tower at Drew Parker. Drew Parker hit a spinning DDT on Drew Parker through a pane of glass. Drew Parker threw Darts into Jack Harrop's back and Jack Harrop immediately retaliated by throwing a tube bundle at Drew Parker. Jack Harrop gave Drew Parker a Cannonball through a pane of glass. Jack Harrop finished off Drew Parker with a spinebuster.

This was a solid match, and I loved the surprise of a Jack Harrop win.

Jack Harrop advanced via pinfall

3.25/5

Otis Cogar v. Bobby Beverly in a First-Round Match

This was a barbed wire massacre match.

Bobby Beverly speared Otis Cogar through a barbed wire door and wore out Otis Cogar with tubes. Otis Cogar wore out Bobby Beverly with tubes. Otis Cogar used the straight razor on Bobby Beverly. Bobby Beverly hit a couple of Saito Suplexes on Otis Cogar and went through a tube bundle. Bobby Beverly put Otis Cogar through a Barbed wire bundle. Otis Cogar finished off Bobby Beverly with a moonsault onto a barbed wire chair.

This was very good, but what else did you expect? These two have never had a bad match.

Otis Cogar advanced via pinfall

3.75/5

Lil Sicko v. Mr. Danger in a First-Round Match

This was the final First-Round match and the stipulation was ladders and light tubes.

We started with aerial stuff from both men. Mr. Danger gave Lil Sicko a toss through a ladder. Lil Sicko gave Mr. Danger a sunset bomb off a big ass ladder. Off the same ladder, Lil Sicko took a light tube star to the top of the ladder and did a moonsault to Mr. Danger. Mr. Danger gave Lil Sicko a Spanish fly through a tube bundle. Mr. Danger finished off Lil Sicko with a phoenix splash onto a tube bundle.

This was an insane match. Both men were great at mixing aerial stuff with death match, and it reminded me of watching a Sick Nick Mondo or J.C. Bailey match.

Mr. Danger advanced via pinfall

3.75/5

Reese Mannix v. Parrow

We had a non-tournament regular match.

This match was a basic Big Guy v. Little Guy match. It was whatever.

Parrow won via pinfall

2/5

Jack Harrop v. Bear Bronson in a Second-Round Match

This was under the Doors of Death Rules.

Jack Harrop dropkicked Bear Bronson through a gusset door and attacked Bronson with tubes immediately. Bear Bronson suplexed Jack Harrop through a carpeted strip door. These two headbutted tubes into each other. Bear Bronson chokeslammed Jack Harrop through a gusset door. Bear Bronson finished off Jack Harrop by diving through a door onto Harrop.

This was a solid big guy match and these dudes were bloody messes by the end.

Bear Bronson advanced via pinfall

3/5

Mr. Danger v. Otis Cogar in a Second-Round Match

The stipulation here was panes of glass.

Danger did some high-flying stuff, but then Otis wore him out with tubes. Danger did a springboard leg drop to Otis which caused Otis to go through a pane of glass. Otis Cogar, through Mr. Danger, through a pane of glass. Mr. Danger did a 450 through a pane of glass onto Otis Cogar. Otis gave Mr. Danger a power bomb off the top rope through a barbed wire pane of glass to finish off Danger.

This match was decent, my only gripe is that it got sloppy in a few spots. Not enough to ruin the match but still enough to notice.

Otis Cogar advanced via pinfall

2.25/5

After the match, Iceman came out and attacked Christian Napier after Napier cut a promo.

Bear Bronson v. Otis Cogar in the Finals of the Nick Gage Invitational

This was the match to determine the winner of the 10th NGI. The canvas was stripped to bare boards and the ropes had tubes and barbed wire hung with care.

Otis Cogar got the first tube shot in and rammed Bronson into the ropes that had tubes on them. Otis Cogar used the straight razor in the web of Bear Bronson's fingers. Otis Cogar threw a pane of glass at Bear Bronson, then Bronson immediately put Otis through a pane of glass. Otis hit Bear Bronson with a chair so hard that the chair bounced off Bronson's head. Bear Bronson suplexed Otis Cogar through a tube cabin. Bear Bronson made a comeback that involved many tubes and got the win.

This was a brutal finale and Bear Bronson was the right person to win NGI.

Bear Bronson won the Nick Gage Invitational via pinfall

3.25/5

After the match, VNDL 48 attacked Bear Bronson, and Matt Tremont made the save for Bear Bronson. Bear Bronson then laid out Atticus Cogar, and that's how we ended the night.

Overall

This was a very solid tournament. The Right person won and my personal favorite match was the Sicko/Danger match. Could have done without the buffer match, but even that wasn't terrible.

8.2/10

GCW: So Much Fun 2026

Marcus Mathers v. Ryan O'Neill We had a wrestling match to open the show. It was okay. There was nothing wrong with it but it just did...
