This was a cool way to start the tournament. We had every cool tube spot you could ask for and we even had Takeda stab Dimitri Alexandrov in the head with a pair of scissors.
Crazy Lovers advanced via pinfall

Yoku Miyomoto and Jimmy Chondo Lyon v. Abdullah Kobayashi and Michael Weaver in a First-Round Match
This was another match that featured numerous cool tube spots, which I think is the theme of the First Round. Abdullah Kobayashi did use a fork on Yoku Miyomoto. This was a cool match.
Abdullah Kobayashi and Michael Weaver advanced via pinfall

Masada and Rina Yamashita v. Takumi Sakurai and Yasaku Ito in a First-Round Match
Masada laid waste to Takumi Sakurai with a barbed wire bat. Other than that, there were more cool glass spots, and Masada used the skewers on Yasaku Ito. This was another solid match.
Masada and Rina Yamashita advanced via pinfall
2.75/5
Mickie Knuckles and Beastman v. Ryuji Ito and Yuki Miyazaki
This match was a bit slow for my liking, but it did have some cool outside-of-the-ring brawling.
Mickie Knuckles and Beastman advanced
2.25/5
Fuminori Abe and Ryuma Sekimo v. Jacob Crane and Joji Otani
We just had a straight-up tag match here that was very good.
Fuminori Abe and Ryuma Sekimo won via pinfall
3.25/5
Daichi Hashimoto, Kazumasa Yoshida, Yasufumi Nakanoue, and Yuya Aoki v. Kankuru Hoshino, Kazumi Kikuta, Masaya Takahashi, and Shota Takanishi
I wasn't into this at all, but I don't like 8 people, and these people in it didn't impress me.
Daichi Hashimoto, Kazumasa Yoshida, Yasufumi Nakanoue, and Yuya Aoki won via submission
1.25/5
Michael Weaver and Abdullah Kobayashi v. Mickie Knuckles and Beastman in a Second-Round Match
This was a great match. Even though it was based on comedy the comedy stuff was funny there was enough violence to keep me happy.
Mickie Knuckles and Beastman advanced via pinfall
3.5/5
Masada and Rina Yamashita v. Crazy Lovers ( Masashi Takeda and Takumi Tsukamoto)
This match was unbelievable. It was very hard-hitting and used a lot of glass. My only complaint would be the Finish when Rina went for the frog splash onto a tube bundle that was laid across Tsukamoto and the tubes didnt break. But that did not take away from it at all.
Masada and Rina Yamashita advanced via pinfall
5/5
Hideyoshi Kamatani v. Jun Kasai
After some tube shots, the razor board cross that Jun Kasai brought out came into play. These two exchanged shots with the broken pieces of Razor Board. After some more glass stuff, Hideyoshi Kamatani finished off Jun Kasai with a backdrop driver. I enjoyed this match.
Hideyoshi Kamatani won via pinfall
3.5/5
Masada and Rina Yamashita v. Mickie Knuckles and Beastman in the finals of the 2025 Death Match Grand Prix
This was a solid way to end the tournaments, and all these people pulled out all the stops.
Masada and Rina Yamashita won the Death Match Grand Prix via pinfall
3.25/5
Overall
This show was very good, however, very hard to review. The one complaint I had was that every match had the same stipulation of being themed around tubes. Yes, everyone was creative, but it got repetitive. However, this was still a solid show and every match was solid.
8/10
